Ive had good times botting in WoW but to be honest it's impossible for me to setup a multibotting bussines now a days. Anyone have their thoughts to share? To be honest I would be happy just to bot in one account and dont make money at all but I have reality to catch on and also bills to pay and all of that boring stuff that comes with the rent. How is it for all those botter that can't make an income and have to grab a suit and get a real job? It sucks for me, it was glory days to make a living out of what you love or maybe it's just me, am I the only one that can't support a family out of botting anymore???

Botting should never be your main source of income only a side project. Why watch 20 bots do repetitive shit all day when you can be out working and earning even more money?

Lol if you're not ready to put the time and effort into earning money then you've already failed. Not many people find work 'fun' but you still have to do it to survive, stop being lazy.

There is a difference between a job and a career.

These days you are lucky to make much on gold, I am botting for fun atm but I also have a company too run. Its free cash really work while the bot works, My bots pay for them-self and my food while my company pays for everything else :). Keep it as a side project and thats it.

If your bots get shutdown you will always have another income, never reply on just one :)

Running WoW bots as a profession is a terrible idea, it can be very volatile, and a ban-wave can destroy your income. If you're doing it, you'd better have some cash saved for a rainy day, and an alternative job/profession you can easily go back into if you fall onto hard times. It's not going to be amazing income, and your long term prospects aren't good, as changes to bots or the game can make you unprofitable or stop your botting altogether.

If you live in a prosperous country, you have much greater costs for living than 3rd world countries where botting or gold farming are more comparable or preferable in income to jobs in those areas.

If you really want to make money in the botting community, my suggestion is to find a way to do that outside of selling virtual items/currency.
