I have run into this problem often and follow the instructions to delete and reinstall my micro visual ++ i have run wizard and now when i start the HB launcher it still says wow retail not working. and ideas ? i don't even get a chance to log into HB to post a log.

dont use the honorbuddy launcher. start wow, make sure its in 32bit mode. get fully logged in and in game. then start honorbuddy by starting honorbuddy.exe.
