Hey guys, im thinking of starting a new account just ment for botting now to WoD.. And also to prevent my Main account from being banned.

im turning to you guys that use more then 1 account to bot i need of help to get more secure botting or also tho thoose that got any tips.

Since i will have 2 accounts on the same IP what risk do i have? if the bott account gets banned to the Main account aslo get banned?

Do u guys use any method to make it more secure like Virtual PC or VPN or both? and why is it more safer to use it?

Ca i get IPban on all accounts?

I will make a new mail and battle.net account and use pre paid cards since its stupid to use the same credit card..

Any more tips? that u guys know that u wanna share?

      Anything will help! and thanks!

First and foremost, "safe" botting is an oxymoron. If you wish to be "safe", do not bot; there is always risk.

What risk do you have botting on the same IP? I've noticed, from past experience, that it is more to what is online at the time then the IP:
Example - If Account1 is online and Account2 gets reported/caught and banned, Account1 has a higher chance of getting the hammer as well (Depending if the GM checks).

Some people swear by/use VMs (Virtual Machine) to bot on as it allows a separate MAC/IP address - but the argument is still in the air as to if it makes any difference at all.

Tips? Try and "bot" like a normal player; this means not being on for exaggerated amounts of time while completing the same task in repetition.
The majority of bot bans come from player reports so try and be as inconspicuous as possible. Avoid posting a thousand things on the AH, be "smart" about your choices of where you go, what you do, and how you interact with the player base.

So if if im keeping the same online time on the 2 accounts to a minimum its a good chance that my Main acc wont get banned? I love botting and iv done it for several years, but now that i just recent pulled down a perm banned to 72 hours i dont feel like keep botting on the main account and thats why i wont a second acc that i can focus on botting at.

What was the reason given for the perm ban?

log to your bot account every day and do a dungeon, couple dailies, maybe an lfr. get some gear for your farmers. making your account look normal is the best defense against the banhammer.
