I was fishing one time and I get a emote "purrs." There wasn't any animal around me. Could this possibility be a GM messing with me? Anyone ever got this?
Yeah he's also watching this forum to see if anyone asks this exact thing. You're busted... Or it could be just a client/addon glitch.
or a pet interacting ? the garrison dog maybe ? or something in garrison ? do you have battlepet there ? does it allways happen in garrison ?
There is an emote like that in the game but this seems like it's an unknown entity who says it. Ususally (as you most likely know) when a player emotes, you see their name in the chat. GM's don't usually do things to interact with the "real" world but it happens. I am not someone who knows everything about this but I say it looks very suspicious. Something that everyone should keep in mind is that you can always get busted no matter what bot you use. If you want to keep your main account I suggest you bot carefully.
I have a garrison dog, but he is usually in the herb area. Hm. No battle per was active at the time. I was just fishing and that came up. I fish all the time but first time seeing something like. I just wanted to bring attention to it.
Don't worry, you're not the only one having this strange issue. I'm also getting "purrs.", but only on my bot accounts. I have no clue what it is or what it could be, but this seems to happen at populated areas.
