For me, Reborn Buddy is totally worth it. I had pretty much given up on FFXIV and this bot gave renewed life to the game. I'm still a newbie in FFXIV and to botting, but having Reborn Buddy help me with my rotation when fighting, and helping me with money through mining has been unbelievably helpful. I was able to get miner up to level 50 within the 3 day trial period no problem. Not once did my character get stuck. The only problem I had was with missing teleport crystals, but after reading some forum posts, I learned what to look for in the logs and sought up the missing way-points. The gathering profiles alone would have made this bot worth it, but as I discovered more, and learned more, I realized just how great of a product this is, and wanted to give a shout out of appreciation. I'm still learning how to do some things with the fate/grinding/leveling features, but I'm constantly impressed with what I find. Some areas I'm still trying to figure out more is how to get the bot to mine specific items, and the fishing profile has me all sorts of confused. Recently it's been porting me to Bentbranch Meadows and just sitting in the level 1-3 mob area. I think it's getting confused with the 1-50 grinding profile. <shrugs> Regardless the amount of utility for the 30 dollar price is still a great purchase. I've spent a lot of money on less useful things, and I'm very happy with giving Reborn Buddy a chance!
You could give the GatherAssist plugin a try when you want to mine a specific thing. That's what I use whenever I need X of something quickly.
