Hi I thought I'd level my druid and noticed I can not force the Travel Form any more via config file because honorbuddy keeps forcing a ground mount and keeps telling me: [15:22:54.347 N] Mount Name must be set to a ground mount. Changing it to Amani Battle Bear [15:22:54.347 D] MountName: Travel Form (Amani Battle Bear - Spell - World of Warcraft) [15:22:54.350 D] FlyingMountName: Travel Form (Travel Form - Spell - World of Warcraft) This looks like a bug as it should be allowed as ground mount. It worked in the past by using the Spell-ID:783(Travel Form) but it keeps forcing spell-ID=98204 (Amani Battle Bear) Is there a way to disable this check or has there been added a second config file I should edit for Travel Form?
Ok heres the log(thought I gave the info you needed from the log before tho): View attachment 2944 2015-03-02 16.12.txt It's the result from changing line 21 in the CharacterSettings.xml From: <MountName>Azure Water Strider</MountName> To: <MountName>Travel Form</MountName> This gives the error: "Mount Name must be set to a ground mount. Changing it to Amani Battle Bear" I also tried the Spell-ID which gave the same error. Thanks in advance
Dear Tony, According to your statement it should not be a flying mount as well, but is listed under the flying mounts... and it worked before v6.0.3 with the same Spell-ID, so why prevent it? I'm not asking you to change the bot, I'm asking for a way to disable the check or add it to the ground mount list. Therefor please provide me with an answer or help me to resolve this problem. PS: I'm not the only one who noticed this change, this post is complaining about it as well Thanks again.
ground mounts are ground mount, and flying mounts are flying mounts, they're are 2 separate kinds of mounts for a reason, you MUST have a proper ground mount on your character.
Please read the entire info CodenameG before you reply with incorrect info..If you played the game as druid you would know that it is a ground mount... if you don't believe me.. watch this video it even explains that with the extra Glyph that separates Stag Form and Flight Form from the spell Travel Form, that the Flight Form is actually called Flight Form and when we want to use Stag Form it is called Travel Form.. Since 6.0.3 we have one spell for all forms. When we cast Travel Form and we can fly, then it uses the Flight Form, if we are swimming it uses Aquatic Form, else it use the standard Stag Form. So why not list it under Ground Mounts as well with the name Travel Form?(Before v6.0.3 it was available)
obviously those changes are not implemented in honorbuddy. as far as a support issue theres nothing we can assist you with.
Dear CodenameG understood, I know it is possible since there even is a payed plug-in that enables it. How would I go about getting this in the next version of Honorbuddy? Who would I speak too? I also would like to know what I can do in the meantime, since having a druid on mount looks weird and will be noticed. Is there a config file I can edit or is there someone on your dev team that could help me out? Thanks for your time so far. Yours truly, h4x0r
Hey Tony, Not exactly, I'll try to explain it more clearly: Problems/situation: 1. Blizzard has changed the Travel Form and Flight form ability's to one spell called Travel Form(previously the ground mount form). 2. Honorbuddy does not list Travel Form in the Ground Mount list while the Spell-ID783 always has been a Ground Mount ability for Druids 3. Honorbuddy somehow thinks Travel Form is a flying mount and lists it under the flying mount list. Since you cannot fly in Draenor, Honorbuddy has therefor effectively disabled the Travel Forms in Draenor and makes it impossible to use 4. I cannot force it via the CharacterSettings.xml because Honorbuddy thinks it is a Flying Mount and forces a different ground mount(tried both Travel Form and Spell-ID783) Solutions that I would like to see/realize: - get Travel Form under the ground mount list - or being able to force it via a config-file(requires the mount check to be disabled) Thanks again for your time and patience. Yours truly, h4x0r
