      hey guys, i am lytylisius,

I've been using Demonbuddy to my continued satisfaction from 2012 till now and get banned now and then.
This happens, Botting eventually will get you.
But it has become much more rare for me now, and i almost got it down to a science.

But, the time has come, diablo 3 is boring as hell, and i started playing PoE.
I really like playing it, but ofc i would really like to bot it even more ^_^

Before i buy subscriptions however a few questions if i may?

1- how user friendly is it? Using DB means loading profile, setting what items you want to keep, avoidance for pushing gr's or HC game play, and the difficulty.
that's about it. is this much more difficult or about the same?

2- How ban sensitive is it? meaning, do ban waves occur often? is 24/7 botting "asking for it"? Will it even happen at only a few hours a day? any known info on this would be appreciated.

3- how is the community? do things get updated a lot? DB is always quite fast with any new fixes.

4- is it worth it to you guys?

I understand that most of these questions are heavily opinion based so any response is a good one. as mostly negative, or positive does show a decent picture.

      Thx in advance,

      Greets lytylisius

      1) not really userfriendly. You will have to install various plugins by hand, make a lot of adjustments for each char / build.
You also need a lot of deep PoE Background Knowledge about mechanics and gameplay if you ever want to be successful.

      2) beginners tend to get raped by bans. Experienced users, as you said, can "get it down to science" and get rarely banned.

      3) The Community is usually seen as toxic, unfriendly and not helpful. This is partly true.
But if you manage to read before you post, ask specific questions that are more than "NOT WORK - HELP ME!" you might get good answers.
The Bot itself has plenty of downtimes. Each (even mini) patch in poe will cause a couple of hours up to days downtime for the bot.
Expect a small downtime per week and one great one once per 1-2months.

      4) very worth if you take the effort to set everything up properly.

PoE is a great game to bot and exilebuddy is a perfect sandbox bot that basically let's you do whatever you want with it.
It's just a lot of setup / knowledge work to do. And with that probably noone will help you since everyone is scared to grow new competition in a already unstable market.

my most honest words i can find ^^

Thanks for the honest answer, this is helpful indeed!

you said beginners get a lot of bans, is this due to stupid behavior? as in 24/7 botting? or are there specific things the PoE "warden, for lack of a better word" see's as unusual behavior, which you can only learn and change by doing it wrong and getting banned allot?

I would think that things like build specs/ plugins would be manageable with a little study 'round the forums?

Thanks again, i much rather have an answer that make's things complicated then a "go ahead it works just fine" type of thing.

Well depends on what you wanna do.
If you bot 1 Account on your Host-machine and don't go 24/7 you're pretty much fine.
Running a farm that generates good $ is a different piece of paper.

And yeah sure, everything is manageable. The forum provides you with basically all you need. Just don't expect to just check 2-3 Setting Boxes and be done.

Exactly this. While it is 10x better than what it used to be, path of exile is by it's very nature, more complex than D3. The bot still has a way to go, but it is fairly user friendly. Just don't bot stupidly and you should avoid bans. In D3, botting doesn't really affect anything other than your own personal game, so Blizzard really doesn't care. Botting in PoE can have an affect on the economy, so they try to be more heavy handed and active with bans.

If you are interested only in personal botting, currency for your own account etc. As long as you keep it reasonable, you'll be safe. Try to run 20 accounts all farming currency and you are going to get noticed. It's just the nature of the beast.

Thanks for setting these very clear examples.

I was intending to use only 1 account for about 8 hours max.
And indeed if your using 20 acc for 24/7 that seems "stupid" ^^

      Thx for the response!.

I will first do some fieldwork about the game itself, of which i clearly know almost nothing, then try and update my knowledge of this bot through this forum, and only then buy the monthly.

Thx guys you've been helpful so far!
