Programs to record wow game play

What program do you use to record your wow footage? I've been looking around and I've seen several, just want someones opinion.

 

I believe Fraps provides the highest quality screen recording.

 

theres fraps, playclaw, wegame, cam studio. lots of stuff.

 

I use Fraps. Pretty simple and good results. Someone could easily visit a certain site involving the bay of pirates and download it. It is pretty cheap and worth the price though.

 

Will any of these programs allow me to record others screens on my monitor. For example im running hb and I want to record hb running along with wow.

 

Fraps wont for sure. What you need is a screencapture program.

 

Yeah fraps will only record the game window. I wanted it to do the same thing to show a problem I was having. Fraps wouldnt do it so I gave up.

 

there is an option in fraps to record everything on your screen not just window open

well i cannot find the option now but i have done it b4

Only problem with fraps is it,s a resource hog and will munch up any hard drive space you have, so a second hard drive is required.

its good, its free, use it.

 

I also didn't use Fraps. For recording WoW gameplay, I will use something different to help me.

The one I used can help me record anything played on computer screen with high quality, it can help record any portion of the screen, and also in full screen. I often use it to help me record video games.

After recording, it will help save the file.
