So I've just decided to pick up botting now, I know I've picked a bad time since its near a new patch and all but I decided to use these days of downtime- as long as it takes to make sure warden wasn't updated and glitches get removed- to ask a few question about account safety and what not. My main concern is that I have a main account that I'd really like not to get banned so I'm going to go through with all the necessary precautions. Firstly, I only have 1 computer at this time that I can bot on so I wont be able to make a perfectly safe split between the accounts but what I do have is something called "hotspotshield", basically what this program does is it connects you to a different IP address other than your own home IP address, and I believe it makes it so blizzard cannot detect your real IP address. The only problem with "hotspotshield" is that ,I believe, it picks a different IP address almost every time you connect to it and logging on to wow with so many different IP address's could look suspicious and get you flagged.

Note: The accounts are not linked by any similar information , meaning they do not have the same name, address, credit card information, email, ect... The only link between them is them being played from the same computer and same IP address.

So now my question regarding "hotspotshield" (if anyone here knows enough about it) is if it is possible to make it connect to the same fake IP every time. If this is not possible I was wondering if it is a good idea to bot from my home IP but every once in a while log on using a fake "hotspotshield" IP so that I could possible have an aliby ,if I were to get banned, along the lines of: "I got hacked" or "I share this account with my friend" so that they see the different IP addresses and would not bann both accounts of mine that are being played from my home IP.

I also would like a couple in game tips regarding how to go about trading gold btw. my two accounts and posting auctions (I'm using this account mostly for farming purposes aka for gold) should I post auctions on a banked alt on the account, straight off the toon I actually use to do the farming, or should I send what I farm to my main account and then post the auctions. Also if I wanted to exchange gold between the two accounts (which I will probably do often) should I do this by an in-game trade, in-game mail, or a fake auction - although I would lose 5% this way- Note: if I do the in-game trade I would need to log on both accounts from the same computer at the same time and i don't know if this would increase my chances of getting caught.

And lastly an addon that can detect if people are withing a certain range of my character for a certain amount of time and that then could either log me out or hearth me (or anything along the lines of this so that I help prevent player reports) would be great if there is such a thing.

Any other tips or concerns on how to keep my accounts safe, especially my main account, would be greatly appreciated too.

P.S. - No "don't bot if you cant afford to lose the account" comments please, I obviously realize there is the possibility and this thread is just to help minimize the chances of this happening.
