How safe is the actual bot ?

Hey together,

since update 0.171 al lot of user are banned. My account and my girlfriends account are banned. An second account of us is working with the pokemon go app.
Now we don't want to get banned with the other accounts.

Question:

How safe is the use of pokefarmer in the actual version 0.174?
Is there a statemant of the dev's? I only read a thread about an "sorry" for the banned ones!


I don't want to start the bot and get banned again...

I started 3 more. One just got banned. I expect the next two to fall as well.

Looks like Niantic isn't waiting for any more "ban waves" and they just ban u right on the spot

 

But i can't understand, why the bot is then always working.
In past, there were long down times of the bot by the dev's, to be safe of bans.
Last update the bot wasn't down for 24h, but now a lot of user are banned, like us.

If the dev's are unsure about the safety, why is the bot actually running?

Not at all. There is no timer between evolves in pause mode. I mentioned this 36 hours ago

They are picking off accounts that have botted in different countries first, based on the accounts I have lost first.

 

Its looking pretty unsafe i had an account i played legit to around lvl 28 then started using pokefarmer I was fairly safe with it never spoofed my gps super far just downtown about 25 mins away i got to lvl 33 had almost everything super strong account and this recent update got it perma banned. So i started a PTC account and used the same logic didnt spoof it very far or anything and got it to about 25 really fast and it just got perma banned as well. Debating on just quitting the game should have never used it on my main account =(. They should have shut the bot down like they did in the past when it became unsafe....

 

As we always say- "Don't bot on an account, you aren't worth willing to risk."

 

Indeed I always had a separate account on wow for it just disappointing lost my main one on pokemon but some how got one i powered up to 25 in like 3 days back so could be way worse. Prolly just gonna mainly play legit on the lvl 25 one from now on for the most part atleast right now with all these ban reports coming in and bot this new google one i made.

 

I think, in an business, which makes money, there must be a bit more safety for the users.
There can't be an answer like this one above!!

Then, take your time for the dev's to be sure, the bot is working without risk and let the people wait like the last times when Pokemon Go gets updated.

Now, thousand of accounts are banned, lot of people are disappointed and no one is shure, if he should use the bot or not any more!!

In my oppinion there should be an statement of those responsible of the Pokefarmer about how safe the ot is actually.

Sorry that i'm a bit angry, but we used the main accounts for a short time between the days of christmas and new year and now these are banned, which we spend a lot of time and kilometers on.

 

2 recent banned accounts so far here, never left the country or anything. Yet others I have are still fine. Hit and miss.

 

They should put the bot offline and fix it and compensate us for the time loss not like this everyone getting ban

 

Good thing I only bought 1 month to try it out. I am not renewing. Just going to play on my iphone with spoofed location and dpad. Go team instinct.

 

I just renew mine got to use it for 2 days before the update and I didn't even run it after that update and still got ban

 

Lvl 30 no ban here.. yet!

I've spoofed to other countries, used multiple bots and even left Pokefarmer running overnight multiple times. When I used flygps and other mock location apps they would rubberband, too.

I thought I was banned because my nexus 6 was giving me the cannot authenticate. But then I tried my Nexus 9 and it worked and its running right now about 27% away from level 31. Also, I re-flashed my nexus 6 to stock and locked the bootloader and it works.

I also use a VPN with and have used multiple IPs. And all is good.

Maybe my time is coming? Idk what I did differently than others that did get banned. Oh well.. Ill just start another and another if I get banned. Still have my real, non-bot, non-spoof lvl 32 account to use if others get banned.

 

The only difference between my new accounts and old ones are now I'm just gonna be more aggressive in leveling and taking over gyms.

I never used stardust or seriously went after gyms to hopefully be under their radar. That didnt work, might as well go ham.

 

Didnt the botting community fall into some sort of trap for that 24-48 hour period and everyone who botted during that period got banned? I have 16 accounts I have botted and the only 2 I lost where used during that period.

Remaining accounts are between level 28-33

To me if Niantic needs to set a trap to catch botters that means botting has never been safer? I mean, if they could just easily know who is botting why wouldent every account that ever botted be banned?

This is ignorant and obviously you dont get how the game works. I understand your upset at loosing your accounts, I lost 2... one was my main account but that is no excuse for being an ass.

Your cheating, plain and simple and doing so through a program that you pay next to nothing for. There has been zero bans since August, I think botting has been pretty damn safe.

You serously blame PF devs because Niantic found a way to catch botters? Remember Niantic has alot more money then PF and probably has some really good programmers on their payroll that are constantly thinking of ways to stop botters.

Dont wanna risk loosing your account? Go outside, run around the neighborhood and catch pokemon yourself.

 

1. Other than those who sell accounts for profit (for other games, bot-farming for profit), why do people want to cheat in games in the first place?
2. Would you pay to use a bot if the bot developer states beforehand your botted account(s) will be banned eventually?

The thing about cheating is people do it to gain advantages and/or reduce in-game farming (which is exhausting, boring, and time-consuming).
So, what is the point to PAY to cheat if the advantage or time saved would become pointless soon after? Having too much money?

Cheating always comes with risks. No doubt about it. If one cheats too ignorantly and loses all effort, certainly the fault is on the cheater.
However if it is because the dev does not want to give one more free day to subscriber and rushed the release, it is entirely another story.

Please don't give me the nonsense of people pushed the dev too hard to release the new update -- people waited nearly three weeks for the ***** of API 0.39. They surely would not mind to wait for one more day.

 

but why after this update we see ever body get banned
