      Hello

I'v noticed that Pokefarmer needs a lot of CPU power, way more than other Pokemon bots I used before, when there was a free API (Java or Python).
So I'd like to run the bot on my Raspberry Pi, which needs much less power then my old laptop.
As far as I can see, Pokefarmer is written using QT, which claims to be "write once, compile everywhere", including the Raspberry Pi running Raspbian as operating system.
But I can only find Windows downloads. Is it possible tho have Pokefarmer for Raspberry Pi? Or at least for Linux X86 or AMD64?

      Hello sasul,

You bring about an interesting question and request. I just finished speaking with the devs, and yes you are correct QT does offer multiplatform support, however it would still require some custom code for the linux parts, which would then require a secondary release of PF going. Due to the high maintenance already required with our current release, this would not be feasible at this time. Please keep in mind there are some other processes we utilize when working with building PF. Excellent question though, and glad to see you did your homework.
