Not sure why but sometimes the Skin Mobs check box gets unchecked. I use HBRelog. After it switchs around come and check it. Notice its not skinning mobs. So check settings and its unchecked. I have tried checking without using HBRelog thinking maybe its messing with the settings. So not sure whats up. I run several bots with each account having its own dedicated HB folder. So to keep there settings separate. Only 2 of the 5 keep resetting the skinning. Not sure what Im doing wrong. Must be user error.
Using kicks questing. Im wondering if its the professionbuddy profiles using. One acct hit 60. So stopped, started the professionbuddy to lvl up mining. Noticed the loot mobs turned off. Figured ok its just gathering. Before turned off made sure loot mobs checked. Started up questing, loot mobs and loot chest was unchecked. On other acct was having issues with skinning staying checked noticed it got its loot chest and loot mobs unchecked also. Different accounts. Different directories for HB. So Im thinking with running multiple accounts, multiple HB, switching profiles, some how mixing up settings. If just run one alt, never change profile. Its ok. But changing alts, using different profiles, and different bot bases. Not saving settings. I will just keep checking settings every time change char to make sure ok and maybe see pattern to see why change. Im using HBRelog to change bots and profiles.
Hi, In2fun, As Bambam922 suggests, the profile will mess with your UserSettings. Why settings don't "stick". Kick's profile do indeed alter the user's harvesting preference and other settings a fair bit. This is to prevent interference with questing. But, I believe HBRelog may be interfering with the profile 'restoring' the original settings when Honorbuddy shuts down. If HBRelog 'kills' Honorbuddy, rather than letting it exit gracefully, then the 'original settings' may not be restored if the profile has altered them. If this is the case, then this is a bug in HBRelog. Honorbuddy must be shut down gracefully (i.e., you can't just 'kill' the Honorbuddy task). Otherwise things like this happen: A user's "original settings" may not be restored One or more files in the "settings" directory can become corrupt, and prevent subsequent launching of Honorbuddy cheers, chinajade
Ty china and tony for info. I think thats whats going on. HB stops during a quest where profile changed for quest. Then starts up doing something else with those settings. I didnt even think of questing profile changing those settings but does make sense.
