I'm not sure if you read my updated version of the post - but I'm not even allowed to have my avatar?

It's not about that, I don't have advertising inside the product itself. I have a thread on these forums with a download as an attachment, and I also link to the same plugin on my own website where they can use my manager plugin to automatically update the plugin for them (and any other plugin or profile they found on my website). So I post a free plugin here with a download in attachment, and link to the same free plugin on my own website where I can offer automatic updates.

I'm not saying they should ask questions there. I'm not even talking about questions about my plugins or profiles. I'm talking about questions for example in developer forum. I have the answer for a lot of those questions on my own forum already. Why can I not link to that answer to help them?

How about letting your users decide what they like or want instead of forcing your opinion on everyone?

Im going to be honest here, I dont mind paying for 70 euros for the bot or more, but Im just saying this I WOULD NEVER PAY for a profile or a CC. They have to be free , is retarded enough we have to configure the bot like fuck. Im here since day one in 2 or 3 accounts that I bought and my gf too. I never sold any gold or sold anything actually in WOW, I just level and get gold for me individualy and this is what I have to say..Want to ask more money I pay np but dont ask me money for ANY CC OR PLUGIN OR WTE ... That is ridiculous, when people buy the bot they dont sign for buying CC OR PLUGINS , this isnt the supermarket.

Bossland, and all employees, have never once tried to mislead me. They tell you exactly how it is, and if it is needed, why.

The CCs were removed because of the Zygor link. Stop trying to attack them. He made a decision, and calling him a liar when he clearly stated why something happened doesn't help.
Offer a solution, not add to the worthless problems.

Also Bossland, referring to your advertising in a Curse Addon post - None of the devs here on the forum have taken it that far. We had a single part about a single project that a user could purchase. Not a link to every single paid project available on a site, and to 20 other sites, etc.
The idea is there, but it was never taken overboard.

Bossland, did you see my last post, if you're still here?
That's what the post basically covering

And why not target those people instead of all of the 3rd party coders?

I may be a bit late but here's my saying on paid stuff.

As people getting more and more greedy as their CC becomes an "success". I've lost my faith in this community a long time ago, while some others continues and learns. While I'm sitting back and just watching (As I'm fully aware of the projects on going), as the community evolves I will continue and monitor how it evolves into. I've seen countless open-source projects turning into greed(money) getting the least penny out of you if you "donate" to their cause. While I'm happy for projects that have a donation button while getting nothing in return, that's something you donate to. You don't donate because you get a super new cool GUI or better rotation. You donate because you love the project the 'team' or 'person' is working on, and you shall feel happy that you contributed towards their project, so they gain more and more motivation to work on their project, not because you gain something in return.

I can't speak for others, but as far as I am concerned, I couldn't care less about the money and I am damn sure not greedy. Please feel free to ask anyone that knows me. Those donate buttons you speak about are a joke. I know, I had one here for multiple years. Resulted in a grand total of $15 in donations for 300-400 profiles at the time. Do you seriously expect the people who can make good products to waste countless hours perfecting their code and simply give it away. People in general will never donate a penny for something they can get for free. Which is now why most of the top 3rd party devs host their work elsewhere as paid. Keep in miind, you payed for a bot that is essentially worthless without 3rd party Devs, yet people expect them to make good products for free. You don't get HB for free and it's only half of what you need.

You guys picked on the wrong Developer...TuanHA has been amazing for your community and your product. He does things the right way....

Throwing the Baby out with the bathwater comes to mind...

Time for someone in charge to admit a mistake and do the right thing...have some courage and admit you were wrong..and support the guy..dont cut his legs out from under him!

I then wonder why the DWCC thread was edited by Tony about a week ago, removing all hints towards a paid version. There is was never a single advertisement in the posts we made or in the code we released.

What upsets me even more is the fact that the thread was edited WITHOUT any comment OR PM regarding what the issue was.

Can you elaborate on that, please?

      Sincerely,

      wownerds Dev Team

I don't really see your point. For over 8 months we've seemed to be okay, even got our status confirmed by CnG.

All free releases are working and outnumbering Singular.

In addition, this does not answer my question to why we are not being informed about threat edits.

You were already informed about the rules updates (or you should be),so instead of taking your thread down i decided to edit what was against rules
and ofc you know exactly why only the advertisement part got removed,so i dont feel an "explanation" needed

as you know Cng is a mod and he is here to impose the rules, but the rules are made by the admins/owners
so idk whats the confirmation you are talking about but if there are changes on rules we have to impose them

the fact that people used the "donation" part in a bad way wasnt our fault tho
we gave you space for donations and you turned it to paid versions and we said ok but you have to provide free working versions

but what we had instead was crappy free versions...no it doesnt work that way

our forums is not the place for your advertisements,i am sorry

(i am talking in general, not personal)

well you are still missing the point here...we are not after someone specifically
the same rules applies to everyone

Tony, this still does not answer what exactly, in your opinion, violated the rules. This has not to be discussed publically, but still, I cannot see any violation, even of the new dev rules.

i think i am clear enough, from what i can see your donation part is still there

if you think i/we removed something that does not violate our rules you can add it there and ask from as to review it

in any case keep in mind that direct or non direct advertisement is not allowed

if i or someone else made a mistake we are here to fix it

*i just updated your thread let me know here or via a pm

Oh I get the point...someone was pissed people were making money by making your product easier and better to use...

I cant think of any big company who does this.... especially a company who's name rhymes with Lizzard

I have said my peace...im done...i just wish you guys would thank TuanHa rather than apply some BS rule that you and your customers obviously don't put lots of stock in...(WOW TOS)
