First, thank you so much for all the work you guys do. I only ever use Questing and BgBuddy. Ive been with HB long time with no problems. Leveled over 50 toons. Again, Thank you. BGbuddy just Qs for a few then does nothing. Questing works for a bit then same thing. nothing. (kicks profiles - yes fresh SVNs) No errors. Nothing in logs. Yes I have re-installed. Yes I know and use all proper instal instructions, configs, settings. As I said - HB has been a champ for a long time - perfect! But now. Nope.... I cannot be the only one with this?
the Bgbuddy bug is known and its gonna be fixed,as for the questbot issues you have we must check your log
Hmm.. well the only strange/sad thing is - one year and 50 toons later - mixed mode always worked like a champ. Until now. Appreciate all you guys do - but - it used to work. Something needs looked at and not this excuse. Cheers!
its never been recommended to run questing with mixed mode. so if it was working for you, then great, awesome. but there's nothing there to fix. because of the way quests are highly scripted, its not a good idea to have it get distracted by other bot bases.
Fair enough. And again - thank you for all the amazing work you all do! One year of mixed mode questing|bgbuddy - I was able to level toons to 85 in 7-9 days. Last month... leveling has been a horrible task - compared - to how easily it worked before. Maybe I was just lucky for an entire year? If that is truly the answer well I thank my karma. But maybe it can work and something was changed in the recent month and deserves a second look. either way thank you to all staff and developers its been a great ride.
mish - when the quest bot does *nothing* ... tell me what happens when you press jump while moving back wards for 2 seconds; does he pick up? if so, we fixed that issue last night. as far as mixed mode ... the main issue with BGbot and questing and why i don't support it is that if we're in the middle of an escort, vehicle quest, etc ... sometimes the profile is like ????????? when it comes back from the bg and then ppl blame me for not coding it correctly or something.
