What would be best left AFK for leveling? [POLL]

What would be the best Method for leveling if left AFK? (Overnight, Or When your Out/away from computer unable to watch over the bot)


I'm curious to know what's the fastest Alternative to questing, since when i leave it Full AFK, it does obviously get stuck, and its frustrating, so i'm wondering what's the next best thing..

Apart from the fact that it's incredibly stupid to go away when your bot is doing something, grinding beats everything else. Questing can get stuck, often needs manual questing because some quests the bot is unable to do. Unfortunately the "best and fastest" way is also the most dangerous. Other players are your biggest enemies.

 

Love the fact you said apart from questing, yet you added it to the poll and everyone is clicking it ha!

Mehh, i just wanted to see also what other people was doing! when they leave their bot AFK, when they go sleep etc or are at work.., just curious that's all, i'm not saying neither are bad

 

Archeology used to be good back in the days for leaving bot afk over night, don't know if it's still good now though.

 

There's a million good reasons not to let your bot run at night. Sure, everyone does at some point, so did I, but it's risky as can be.

 

I've always used Kick's profiles to level my toons, and the last 2 that I did didn't get stuck when I was away. Maybe I just got lucky, but I think they got most of the bugs out.

 

Grind bot is the best for me. Just reply to messages via wow armory in your mobile phone

 

grind bot is asking for a ban its like using GB for hours on end noone in there right mind is gonna grind or farm for that long me myself i have leveled 6 toons to 85 and 4 of them to 90 using kicks afk for the 1 to 85 the 85 to 90 was when thay frist added mop so i watched it a lil

 

questing - cava 1-67 / then kicks 67 to 85 / and cava again 85-90

Reason i prefer cava, it doesnt get stuck as much as kicks does, and if you report
your bugs to cava, they are fixed the same day, mostly within the hour aswell.

There is no alternative 67 to 85 untill cava codes the rest, thats why i go kicks overnight, or
use lazyraider on dungeons when im here, but cava's questing profiles own.

 

Its not bugs in the profiles most of the times , its blizzard putting objects in the bots path.

Done 14 chars at least now with cava, and im sure at some places there where no rocks / crates or something like that
and all of a sudden the bot gets stuck on something that wasnt there before.

Grinding, doing the Virmin Nest profile from Headshotter at Valley of the 4 Winds. I let it run for 10 hours +. Been doing this on 4 characters already, no ban.
It's also funny to see other people running the same profile at that spot. I can easily see who's botting. x)

 

Just do questing. Kick's was great. You're gonna get banned whether you are watching it or not. I ONLY bot when I am not near my computer. ha

 

Polls like this are basically useless. Anyone can vote including people who have no idea what they are talking about. Therefore the results you get are biased and in no way reflect what may or may not be the real answer. Questing hasn't been afkable since the 5.0.4 patch. It has gotten better in recent weeks, but thats simply because more custom behaviors are being created for MOP content.

 

I did my bots doing dungeons, not afkable, but you get to 80 within 24 hours.

From then i did kicks till i hit 85, bought some gear of the ah and did dungeons again till 90.

But, also i did 5 toons the same time. It may not be cheap, but i think it's the safest way, till there are no other players to report you^^ (even let it run while shopping once or twice...)

 

Yeah, 5 accounts running dungeons with the RAF bonus is the way to go if you can afford it (I'm doing two MOP accounts, 1 Cata, and 2 Battle Chest. 2 Gatherers, 1 shuffler, 2 AH bots). I started this setup yesterday and went from 1-50 in about 5 hours.

 

i have a good afk setup doing archaeology i never get stuck and use it to lvl 60-90 i also use it to make my gold get around 8k a day i prefer this because it jumps around and rarely sees pvp action

 

How, exactly, do you run Archaeology bot without flying in MoP zones? Or, are you running arch in EK/Kalimdor/Outlands until 90? Just wondering because I've been looking for an alternative to questing/grinding/dungeons.

 

i run it in EK at 60 i leave the arch lvl at 325 that way it wont open cata areas til you hit 85 then ill change it to 525 to 90 it doesnt matter where you arch its a constant exp gain like gathering professions i blacklist shadra alor and twilight grove and use the plugin logmeout set it to logout after 15 min and set it to hearth before exit set home to innkeeper in trade SW by AH and enjoy
