Combat bot not attacking

My combat bot will not attack at range on my elemental shaman, I have adjusted pull range, tried different CCs, reinstalled HB but for some reason he has to be in melee range and get an auto attack in before he starts casting anything, any ideas on whats going on?

 

you need to attack using a ranged spell and then it will "start".

 

So i have to hit the button first? I used to just right click and it would start, granted i haven't used honorbuddy in awhile.

 

combat bot, only works IN COMBAT. you need to pull the mob manually to engage it.
