If you turn on parental controllers there is an option to disable realid.

Unfortunately that feature has not yet been added... I believe everyone here has the same issues with RL ID and Battle Tags at the moment. Blizzard is supposedly creating an invisible feature which should be coming into play within the year or the next.

Doesn't this remove your RL ID's when you do this though? I've never tested it cause I thought it did that...

it does idd remove all your friends on RealID
so if you do not want to loose all your RealID friends, i would suggest botting with them on... i did this for ages and nothing happened yet really.

There is a real ID disabler on ownedcore.com i'm using it :p All it does is to block the real ID ports in your firewall and it turns off.. Just turn it back on right after (Otherwise you can't login to wow if you DC).. If you want to chat with your Btag friends just turn on and restart your client..

Login to wow > Open program > Turn off Real ID > Wait for it to turn off (Usually says so in wow chat or check friend list) > Turn RID back on (The ports have to be turned on before you can login.. So incase of DC turn it on again) > Bot in peace.

Doing this WILL delete your real ID frieds

yes their is a way through your blizzard account

      1. log on to the account you want to disable the real id for on the blizzard website
      2. click on the settings drop down menu and select communications preferences
      3. un-tick real id box

      job's jobbed

      hope this helps

yes, but doing this, does this delete any real id friends that you already have added?
