Hey guys, I figured i'd post this little story cause I thought it was awesome considering how many people say they've been banned. Let's start out with... I bot atleast like 15 hours a day lol, by either questing or grind bot when I'm afk. I recently bought a faction change for one of my characters and then put in a ticket for a refund cause the faction I changed to on my server was completely DEAD. So today, I put my grind bot on while my gf came over... and a few hours afterwards I checked it really quick, and by some miracle the bot stopped randomly and let my character go afk. Luck would have it, that as soon as it went afk and stopped working, a GM requested a chat with me, and then from me being afk it disconnected me.. Which was pretty cool cause I was botting and then a GM messages me, and I didn't get banned. Anyone else have a story like this; close encounter?
never bot after putting in a ticket unless your watching it. even then people dont respond to gm's sometimes those GM's responding to tickets dont really care as they will just send you an e-mail anyway.
Almoast the same happened to me. Was botting instances for transmog gear, sendt a GM a ticket (cant remember what for) went over to my gfs house came home 7 hours later or so. Noticed that I've gotten a mail in my mailbox. It was a gm responding to my question. Even tho my bot was on all day ^^
I put in a ticket a couple weeks ago to ask specifically for a GM joke. well 3 days after that a GM answered me while I was playing (botting), and I started to chat with him. Yes I was botting the entire time... did he notice anything? nope...
