After reading all the threads blaming Routines and Profiles, rather than careless bot usage, for bans, how many folks have yet to get a ban to date. I personally have been botting for years and have yet to get even a suspension.
Same, I used to run 3 accounts 10-12 hours a night 2 of which only farmed herbs/ore. I can tell you the one thing I know kept me from ever being banned. I made sure to socialize with people and treat them with respect, give people deals, randomly give out a free pet with a trade (from ore). A little respect goes a long way. First impressions can decide weather that person decides to report you or let it go because of how nice you are. I think GM's also look at this factor but since that's only speculation I won't go into that.
LMAO i got a perma ban, THE FIRST 10 minutes i ever logged onto my account with honourbuddy, got an email about it, "apparently for security reasons blah blah blah, sent us info, we will fix it" getting it fixed atm. but it was my first time on EU server, note. EU is alot more risky then US, theres heaps more people on EU.
botting since the release of Pir**, after it got taken down i bought HB no ban, no gm whisper, nothing (massive questing of chars, massive BG farming, rotation bot, good amount of herbing)
I have done every careless thing there is to get banned... Never got banned the only time I ever get banned, is in diablo 2 for map hacks lol.... Now i just use the Etal d2nt bot and andy's hacks. =no ban , blizzard will never update/ patch. ---------------------------------- Diablo 3, been botting since Demonbuddy came out for it basically. and i run the bot pretty much 24/7 unless the power goes out, or im converting vids to different formats, or downloading games. World of warcraft... I have hacked the shit out of that game... I even Have videos on one of my USB drives of me FLY/Teleport hacking lol. I also bot wow almost 24/7 --- its not really about how much you bot. its normally just about How many people complain, and if your bot is walking to the edge of the map multiple times due to a bot bug. AS far as the bots go on this website, Never use a beta build, Not only do many people target the beta builds and hack this website. but beta Builds are INcomplete so any little bug can cause an error in-game and trigger you a ban. I do bot D3 and wow at the same time if anyone was wondering... you can do that b/c blizzard has 2 separate servers and departments.
i think people are more likely getting banned for going afk and running into a tree root for 4 hours tbh/farming mats or mobs for 8 hours + a day.... there aren't many normal people that would do that continuously for 8 hours. always find it quite funny when people post a banned thread... "i was only mining nodes for 12 hours and got banned wtf... im always sensible" etc then you read.. how much % of the time was u supervising the bot... and they put "5%" take care when you bot and the chances are greatly reduced (imo).... and if you bot on an account you care about... realise that your taking the risk and ask yourself if your ok with it getting banned before doing it ... makes it a lot easier if u do get banned
Been botting for about 2 years now, including my main account. ~8 hours a day doing different things(pvp,farming,dungeons/raids) and no bans of any sort.
i dont get your point?... i never said u WILL get banned. - its not certain but its deffinately not "sensible"...
Usually its when you cross the line, botting 24/7 and using AH although it also comes down to luck as well.
lmao this so much.. it really makes me cringe and cry on the inside when i see my bot do this and it just gives me a feeling that i know ill be banned in the near future xD damn bugs xD hm oh well it's free profiles guess they cant be bug free all of them.. but to keep it OT: -Funny enough i've only recieved bans when i've used herb/mine gathering profiles, never from grinding in big obvious places for several hours during mid-day, or running my AH-bot 8-10 hours a day with ~300 auctions at a time.. + then selling loads of gold afterwards via the mail system.. the blizzard ban system is really weird
makes no sense for me at all to bot on this game if i dont go 24/7 cause i bot exclusivly to make money witch this game gave me alredy a few thousands. so yes for me 24/7 its the way to go, if you get baned....welll...start again, thats the way it is, i spent 300 euros in 6 acconts and i got 3500? out of it till 4 days ago when they decide to ban all my 4 farmers and still i manage to got one back, so i cant complain about it
