when i come on the honorbuddy website im getting wierd looking HTML tags or something starting on like half the page down. i took a screenshot. it also happens on other sites too.

anyone know what the problem is? should i re-install firefox? or reinstall java or something? i did the reset thing on firefox already and it still happens.

didnt know where else to post this.

      thanks

      Screenshot is too small.
Upload it to imgur.com and dont resize it.

Clear your cookies and cache, run CCleaner, disable any unknown addons/extensions on your browser.

i did all the above suggestions in this thread, and strangley, all day today, every site i went to was fine. then literally like a minute ago, coming to the honorbuddy forums, doing it again. :(

i suppose i might be switching to chrome if i cant find a fix. i mean, a simple refresh of the page fixes it, but there is still a problem i would like to resolve.

any other suggestions would be cool.

      thanks all

Sounds weird and I don't think there's a problem with the forum itself.
If you like firefox (though i recommend chrome), try downgrading to an earlier version of firefox.

will try that. but first, will do a clean install of firefox.

if that fails, i will seek support on the firefox website. prolly the better place to do it anyway.

thanks again all. will post back results of what i find out. :)

clear your browsers cache and cookies, after thats done close out of firefox and flush your dns cache.

      then restart your pc.
while your pc is restarting if you have access to your home router power cycle it.

that should clear out every bottleneck where it could be caching old copies of the site.

cleared all my cache, cookies. all history from firefox. ran cc cleaner too just to be safe. exited all my open apps. then did the dns flush. rebooted and went downstairs and power cycled both the modem and router.

and as soon as i come back to the honorbuddy forum, same thing happens. so problem still not solved.

thanks anyhow tony for the tips!

ive got an open question on the firefox support website with the screenshot included. just gonna wait for a reply.

and i will get back to you all when i finally find a solution.

but of course, if anyone on here thinks of something that hasnt already been tried, feel free to post it!

      thanks all.

idk, the site is working and rendering correctly. not sure why your only having issues.
