on 24th May our lawyer got the courts decision.

It says that, Honorbuddy will be forbiden for sale in Germany, if Blizzard pays 650 000 EUR as security to the court.

Once Blizzard pays that sum to the court, Honorbuddy sales ONLY in Germany will be stopped. We already prepare to appeal the courts decision.

I am conflicted on this.... Part of me wants to tell you to take the pay out and run while saying "grats on basicly becoming a Millonair" I know the people of Germany will figure out ways to still buy keys from people in other countrys too. BUt the other part of me say FIGHT THEM < FIGHT THEM DAMIT AND WIN! Ghost of tom Joad for insperation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqnMrynpq9U

As a Bis Man my onlyl concern is if you take the pay out they will force you to do the same in other countrys too saying germany had X number of wow players and each player had a posible net worth of Y to you and the next country only has Z number of players Z times Y = what the going rate pay out should be. I would not put it past them to pull some crap like this on you.

Also how does your case effect other companys? .. take the pay out shut down HB in germany , have someone like Kick start a New LLC and start again?

Either way You have faught the huge Company and I for one Am very proud of you Bosslands. Just keep in mind this case will clearly Effect your other cases in other countrys that will come so be smart about how you play your cards!

You have my full suport and good luck!!!

Last. Thank YOU!!! From the bottem of my Heart!

So they have to pay the money to the court, as stated in your post, or to you?
If to you it is a basic buy out or stop it money. If it's to the court to make the court put an injunction on you then that's bribery or corruption of the law at least no?
      Kinda confused :(

It is a bond, blizzard pays the money to the court and the court holds onto it until the final decision. If blizzard wins in the end then blizzard gets all the money back, but if bossland wins then bossland gets the money for the damages of not being able to sell the bot during the time until the final decision. So there is no way for him to "take the money and run" he either wins it all or loses it all.

Cool :) Wasn't worried about him taking the money and running though, if he wanted to do that he could have long ago ;)

The "taking the money and run" was for the other posts not specifically yours :)

How hard will it hit your international bussines, will development continue as always, or will you need to tone it down a bit?

      Good luck man!

Will this inflict any country? Can't you just sell it somewhere else?

Germany over covers Germany, so they can say, "dont sell it to people in Germany" but they dont care about people from else where.

as mentioned before. this will set precedent for trials to follow. whoever wins will be able to point and say 'see, we already won this fight once'.

I find it highly unlikely that Blizzard will use over half a million euros to stop the sale of ONE bot in just ONE country, especially considering Germany makes up such a small fraction of overall players world wide. The only way they'd do this is if they were absolutely certain they were going to win and they'd get it back.
