When running HB with any botbase, and any class, even without addons, and plugins, everything to the bear minimum it's adds huge amounts of lag, making the actual connection of WoW to go red. I'm not talking about freezing WoW, I'm talking about lag connection. Bot seems to be doing a fine job, but can't even fight.

Yes, before some one ask. Yes, when I don't run HB everything is fine.

Actually, I've noticed the same thing (and unsure about FPS or MS). Periodically, I'll get a one second freeze, this happens probably twice a minute. Now, that's fine because I bot so I'm not bothered about looking at the screen, but trying to raid or PvP is really annoying. How could we tell if it's FPS or MS Tony?

It's MS, not FPS. World and Home goes over the 700ms. I did a few bg's and ms stayed on the low 100's. Did the same with HB and it goes over the 700ms with 53fps. Home was at 800+ and world at 1100+.

I have closed all programs (from taskmgr) and restarted PC aswell. It only happens when HB is up. I try using DirectX9 with no luck, still the same.

Just tried a fresh installation of HB, also did a router restart, I just try aswell running HB as administrator. It just sends the ms to the netherlands...

I removed all addons, removed all plugins, deleted my WTF folder, I have praise the lord of bandwidth .... nothing. Everytime I click start on HB, feels like a penalty going in.

here the thing, if it was FPS lag, that would be one thing, but honorbuddy does not interfere with wow's network communications. i think whats going on is that at least in the log you posted that honor buddy was trying to download meshes for the area it was in, that could cause extra strain to be put on the network, however while honorbuddy is downloading meshes your character should be standing still.

one thing you might wanna do is open the System resource monitor utility while wow and honorbuddy are running that way you can see if something is sucking down your bandwidth and it should help you visualize whats going on.

@CodenameG it seems when I run HB quite few svhosts.exe begin to run and they point to 95.211.162.95 in the Netherland. HB itself stays low while the svhosts.exe adds many of them.

Svhosts.exe has nothing to do with honorbuddy.
It has to do with startup applications, so you need to go into your services.msc and msconfig to change what launches on startup.

Like CnG said, the only *minor* strain HB will put on your network is when downloading meshes.
And it certainly does not cause your ping to rise by 600.

I'm certainly not downloading meshes when this happens to me (which is all the time!).

For those of us less savvy, could someone kindly do an idiots guide to what I should be looking at (its all just numbers to me!) and how to fix it - if I at least knew how to identify the problem i'd be happy :)

      Thanks for your help :)

Looki here, normal operation just a CC and Tyrael, doing some PvP. Tyrael lock frame is off.

NOTE: 3rd Picture name is wrong. It's should be on2 not off2.

the network connections that are between WoW and Blizzard servers are just that, between wow and blizzard, we have nothing to do with causing more latency we don't touch network stuff at all. the only network stuff that honor-buddy does is downloading meshes and checking to make sure your auth session is valid.

you should check and make sure that your windows updates are done and windows is completely patched up, and that your graphics and network card drivers are updated as well. but wow is running fine, and honorbuddy is running fine, we do not mess with wow's connections to blizzard servers in anyway, so there's nothing we can do for you, since as far as i can tell its not an honorbuddy issue.

But why it only happens when I click start on HB and stops and I click stop on HB ... I have try changing graphic settings and everything even activating and deactivating seetings. I'll try windows updates to see.

one of the other things to keep in mind is that your character is standing still while honorbuddy isn't running. while its running your character is moving and casting spells all of that is going to use more network resources since the game is actually in motion, where you are in the game is also going to make a difference, if your in stormwind wow has to send data for all the players and npc's around you, while your in the middle of nowhere it wouldn't have to send any npc information, not only, but you can add more network resources for chat messages and if your in combat there's a lot of data being sent across since all combat is done on the server side.

what im saying is the game might have that kind of latency anyway, your just not noticing because honorbuddy isn't playing for you.

Are you using a Killer Gaming Network Card by any chance? I ask, because I had similar issues with while running single and muliple instances of WoW with HB. I could not find the cause so I basically just stopped using the KillerNIC entirely. I am now using my onboard Intel Gbit and all latency issues have disappeared.
