I want to start some pvping again, but only if theres a routine out there that actually works decent. Any suggestions ?
yeps i do i have all tuanha special edition but i like paladin healing the most was my main since vanilla and i like monk healer and i also use Richie crs he has now shadow priest and discpline but he is bussy making a warlock cc to. if you want the most option and updated cr of tuanha you need to get the special edition same as richiecr u need to get the pro
I responded over in the Tuanha thread already, but I will give a breakdown of my success using routines: Tuanha Monk - Hit 2000 in 2's just last night, running Windwalker/Disc Tuanha DK - Hit 1850 in 2's, and 1850 in 3's, but I feel other DKs significantly outdamage me. If Tuanha somehow added a mechanic that would refresh dots when you had optimial AP, I think it would go through the roof Tuanha Hunter - Hit the same as the DK above, but I think I could get higher. Love the trap mechanics PQR (not sure if I should post here, but wanted to give information) Cokc Warrior - I just got this one, and have not hit high ratings, but I can already tell it is awesome. However Warriors are a tad gimped at the moment. PQR Cokc Warlock - Same thing, Affliction spec might work extremely well. Pure Rotation - Going to do some testing tonight, but might actually work very well on rotation-based classes (like DK/WW/Hunter, etc.)
I used Tunaha Paladin for my holy paladin. In arena I got 1850 in 2's but that was just to cap weekly points with a mate who plays a warrior (which is not a bad rating to have with a warrior) I was able to get 2k in RBGs until I quit (was getting bored in WoW) In our RGB team there were only 2-3 close friends that knew I was using honorbuddy while others had no clue (they just thought I was some skilled player) Some tips with tuanha's as holy Paladin with lazy raider - manually use trinkets and CC (disable them in routine, don't forget to disable racial if you are human!) - set divine shield and hand of protection threshold very low but use them manually if needed. - the automatic dispels and guide are great, use them! - lower offensive use of holy prism to 10% (think of it as a second execute) - disable all offensive skill (except your "executes") - don't be afraid to stand close to enemy casters and healers (but watch out) since the routine will interrupt the sh** out of them Some might think there is no fun in playing this way, but on the contrary you get more fun since you can focus on other things and even have time to lead a RBG team. PS : you need to know the healing basics since others (guildies or friends) will start asking how to play holy paladin so you need to have some knowledge of what the bot does, when and why
1800 Tuanha rogue 2001 Tuanha hunter 1950 tuanha monk healer my paladin is undergeared but an easy 1750 as ret/hunter I am leveling a dk to test his dk cr but got a 72 hour ban before hitting 90 (currently 86) also super excited to try richies shadow priest cr in 3v3. (pro edition of course) All these are 2v2 ratings, with my current disc partner and a good ret in 3v3 we will be hitting 2200 no prob on my hunter. I turn almost all CC options off such as interrupt, scattershot, pet stun and whatnot and do it all on my own, same with monk cr but on the rogue I only do blind and smoke bomb it does a great job interrupting everything. All the rating are in 2v2 as I prefer the casual feeling of 2v2
