      The time for a big content patch has come and you will notice that the current release of Honorbuddy (.656) is not compatible with the new patch.

      Our staff will be taking their time investigating everything that is shipping with patch 5.4.
      This means that there will not be a release until the staff has implemented all changes and tested every aspect.
      Safety is our priority and we do not want to release anything that is detected.

      Notes:
      • The patch will cause Honorbuddy to have a longer downtime than usual.
      • Customer complaints have no bearing on the release of an updated bot.
      • There will not be a "lite" version of Honorbuddy.
      • Yes, we have done research on the PTR, but information shipped in retail patches can be different.
      • Expect combat routines/plugins to not work optimally. Please let authors update their routines and plugins.

      European users will patch tomorrow. Please note you can grab a build of .656 here: Honorbuddy Build .656

      Status Update as of 15:29 (UTC) Tuesday 10/09/2013

      Honorbuddy has been re-assembled into compilable form with the changes imposed by the 5.4 patch. We are waiting for the US realms to come back to start with the dynamic analysis and other nightmares caused from the server-side of things.

      There is no ETA for either a beta or test release as of now. We need to make sure everything is right before doing a release.

      Morning fellow buddies,

      There are bunch of stuff that changed here and there in the new patch which we need to update in our API. We are still in process of testing and fixing things.

      As most of you have already know we are always skeptical about security aspects and we won't do a release before we are confident enough that HB is fully safe.

      We are still working on getting things working. There has been big changes in WoW about how it reads the game data and it is taking longer then we expected to sort it out.

      There won't be a beta/test release today. We are hoping to at least get a beta release out tomorrow.

      Morning buddies,

      We are getting close to at least a closed beta. Will keep you guys updated.

      Update from Hawker:
      This thing is killing us and there won't be a beta. Once we have tested and confirmed it works, we will release. If there are showstoppers, we will do a series of small releases over the coming days. For now, we think the detection issues have been addressed and we are working on the bot itself.

      Sorry to give bad news but it looks like we won't able to do a beta/test release today as we are doomed by the curse of Friday the 13th.

      Problems keeps popping up and we are working hard on getting a release out.

      Looks like a ninja patch hit the US realms a few minutes ago. For now let's call it Build # 17371 (9.7MB)
      I as well as players on my realm were instantly booted out of WoW (application completely closing) and forced to download it.

      As raphus stated a short time ago, we will not be able to release a beta today. We are still ironing out issues caused by API changes that were forced by Patch 5.4.
      Unfortunately, this ninja patch will cause a little more downtime because we have to see what this one brought to the table.

      Apologies on behalf of the staff and thank you for your patience.

      As the curse of Friday the 13th is over, we have made big progress. The bot is mostly working right now and we are rolling internal updates.

      However, we have other concerns that we are looking after and this may delay the release for some time. We won't be able to do a release today.

      The EU WoWclient has been patched from 5.4.0.17359 to v5.4.0.17371. This means that EU and US Honorbuddy users should now be using the same version of Honorbuddy, again. EU users, please visit the [Test Release] thread, and manually update your Honorbuddy.

      A note for German users...
      at this time, we do not have an update for the DE version of Honorbuddy. We are working on that problem?please be patient.

      Honorbuddy DE is now back online from this morning's WoWclient patch. This Honorbuddy version is ready to connect to the updated WoWclient v5.4.0.17371. Please download it from the [Test Release] thread.
