I've read a post somewhere in the ban section where a guy said: Well what do you expect when you make 400 auctions per day.

Well if I am selling rubies, diamonds, etc, I sell them in stacks of 1-2 so I make a lot of auction for a stack of 20.
Then if I put 10ish stacks bars of each kind and 10ish stacks of ores - well that's a lot of auctions per day, isn't it?

I don't think you gotta be a botter to hit the 400 auctions per day count.

That is true. but you are talking about day count.

Most of us bot every day and want to post some on AH every day.
So 400x7 = more than a normal user would post.
Unless they play the AH but then there are records about buying all the mats in the first place.
It is more about how long you do this. if you keep posting 400 auctions a day for 2 months straight. Yes they might notice.

Secondly, It's not really a fact that they catch you when you post more than "insert amount here".
But it is not really safe either. imho i think you will have to find your own number where u feel comfortable with.

Do some math think about it for yourself
for example: I bot 6 hours a day, it gathers 4 guild tabs of mats, 1 guild tab is 14*7 = 98 so almost 100 stacks of mats multiply that by 4.
is almost 400 stacks a day.

      ask the following question:
If i would play manually would i be able to keep farming for 6 hours: NO.
So there is no way you would have 400 stacks a day while playing manual.
but you still post all 400 stacks each day for 2 months straight. if that is not going to ring a bell somewhere then idk anymore.

Those are still all speculations ofc but it should bring some perspective about how to determine your own "max posts" number
The numbers are also probably not correct but its just to give you a global idea about how i think about it and how i determine how many posts i can do.

      Greetings,
      Red

      yes and no I think

no, because there are tons of other legit people that have easiliy 300+ auction they have inscription and selling almost every glyphs
yes, because people will notice you and are going to think that you are a bot and will report you

i believe there is an error in the way its said, 400 AH a day is posible with multiple proffesions and craft, or some other AH strategy, and is totally legit, the problem comes when you post 400 stacks of GI ore a day, if you get what i mean. No neccesarily like that, but if you continually post around 200 GI ores or bars + 200 herbs a day it should atract a lot of attention and could easily get some people to report you, especially those whose earnings suffer because you undercut them with hundreds of stacks making theirs impossible to sell. MAYBE there is a sistem which atracts blizzard attention, but all of that is pure speculation.

I like to mimic what people who play legit and make lots of gold do: stay diverse and don't just dump tons of ores and herbs and leather on the AH. Also, I make sure that I'm never, never listed as a top/busy seller on The Undermine Journal for my server, and I'm making smart sales choices as if I were a gold goblin.

On my high-pop server that is very raid oriented I can post 300-600 auctions on big raid nights and feel securely under-the-radar, but on my less raid-oriented server I keep it under 200 and include the specialty items that do well on that server.

it might be if you put losts of ore and stuff but I usually put 2000+ auctions per day (gems, enchants) and have no problems with bans. If I get ban it's because of gold selling and using bots for shuffle, not for posting auctions.

I mostly just bot for fish and rep but I regularly have several hundred, sometimes a couple thousand auctions up at any given time. 95% of the stuff I list is from playing the AH but I feel perfectly safe inserting a few dozen stacks of fish from botting (some of the Pandaria fish have significantly increased in value with the new noodle carts). It's all a matter of volume and patterns. Not just one or the other.

on new accounts i receive a ban within a few days i just get very upset and yell at them and they usually undo the ban and i move on just make sure you dont trade anything on the account that usually helps
