Delete the wow 64 exe file. Problem solved. The simplest is usually the best solution. :p. If you need a batchfile to do it automatically every time you start wow after new patches u can open notepad and write in the code below to notepad, then save txtfile as i.e wow.bat. Change path if yours differ. :) The code below will delete the 64 bit exe and start launcher. U should use it instead of the normal exe to make sure u always delete the 64 bit exe after new patches. ;) Saves alot of hassle ond annoycances. If your game path is program file\/world of warcraft u might need to do cd command 2 times like cd program files then cd world of warcraft and so on. Ask me if you want to use it and need help. :)

      del "D:\World of Warcraft\Wow-64.exe"
      cd World of Warcraft
      "World of Warcraft Launcher.exe"
      exit

again, there is no need to delete any files in any directories... the HBLauncher.exe launches the correct version without problems.

      just use the launcher.

      Hello.

      step one
      open the Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe
set paths to WoW.exe and Honorbuddy.exe in the according fields
click launch, wow and HB shall open now.

      step two
the HB opened by the launcher sometimes bugs. close it.
log into your wow account with the WoW opened by the launcher.
      stand in the world.
if the launcher stopped working during this time thats fine. close him.
if the launcher opened more than one wow window... close the ones too much.

      step three
open up Honorbuddy.exe - not the launcher.
      log in
      ??
      profit

      step zero
don't question why HB wont detect your "self openend" wow correctly.
don't get mad at the launcher exiting "emegencily" (did i just invent that word?)
      It's just a [Test Release]

      greetings

Well, I had issues with the 64 bit exe present. The problem is that wow forces 64 bit even if you set 32 bit in launcher or start the 32 bit exe manually. Might not be a problem with latest release however. Also, no need to use launcher if you don't want to. You can start wow and just use the honorbuddy.exe instead as well. Let me add (off topic) for users of Sweet Fx the exe MUST be removed/moved in order to use it or modify config.wtf. This applies both to using HB or Sweet Fx i.m.o.f (link at bottom of post). Just tought it could be ok to mention it in case someone struggle with that as well. :) Note that the change of the wtf file don't always work according to wow community input, so deleting exe might be the best solution for now if problems.

Update: Read 5.4 no more 32-Bit executable. - Forums - World of Warcraft

      1. start Hb launcher
      2. set paths
      3. launch
      4. log into the wow-world with your desired char
      5. wait
      6. once the char is logged in, login to the open HB window
