Heyho, anyone else noticed that tbf is god damn slow all the time? Reminds me of the good ol 56k modem times. aanyone else having the same issues? Sometimes it takes like 1 min to load a thread, sometimes it goes in normal speed. But anyhow, everything is very slow here most of the time. Is this kind of a routing problem because I`m acessing it from germany and some of your servers are blocked for german IPs?
idk, its fine for me and i should be farther away from the server then you are. maybe clear your cache and cookies?
Yes happens on all computers, i don't want to flame, i really think there is a problem. Posting the thread took like 45 seconds.
nah, its slow very often. Im on a 120 mb cable connection so that aint me. Yesterday it was bad as it never was before. And its like that very often. Weird thing is, it always happens when u got "issues". So saying it isnt happening doesnt cut it.
TBF runs perfectly fine.. 99.9% of the time, only yesterday i had a problem, but i'm guessing it was due to load (temporary) issues. Online site checkers also reported TBF offline at the time but it only lasted a short while.
Sometimes it really acts normal with normal speed. But very often it just laggs. Like the db server is running at its limit. The downloads are still fast, the attatched files for example but the db is really slow. Today it took about 1 min to open a thread sometimes I eaven get a error message when i try to open the forum like "server took too long to respond" and 1 min later it is acting normal again
had problems some weeks ago, timeouts and so on. but the last days it worked flawless, vdsl 51/10mbit (t-online) and 5/1mbit (1&1) @ germany browser is chrome on all pc?s
your connection speed doesnt necessarily mean anything. if some people experience slowness and other people have no problem at all then it is most likely a routing problem. (aka your provider). im on 8mbit. no problems at all.

At work now, was the same at home last eve.
i have the same problems..im from germany too. i have a 50mbit connecrion, everything is working perfectly for me except for the buddyforums. sometimes it takes forever to load a page.
Hmmpff that doesn't mean jack! You could be on a 200 petabyte connection and LATENCY would still be an issue. BANDWIDTH doesn't mean jack to network LATENCY. Edit: Your best friends looking up network congestion (validate both DNS and IP, NOT one or the other!): ping tracert else, if doubtful, use one of the 3rd party sites hosted on L3 datacenters. *Obviously, these will NOT tell you if there is a problem between your modem and the questionable site. The above commands will only notify you of this information or calling your ISP. Code: http://dnstools.com/ http://www.dnsstuff.com/
I would assume it has been slightly slower the past few days because of everyone logging on for updates about the new version. When able to bot, many happy botters aren't on the forums.
