This is done by design. All starter classes go from 1-5 using unique race-specific profiles. This includes BloodElves and Undead (that come from another continent), and Ogres and Trolls that come from the same area to which they will be returning.

At level 5, the individual starter profiles chain into the single Durotar 5-12 profile that is done by all classes. The first thing the Durotar profile does is bind at the main Orgrimmar Inn, then move back to south Durotar to take care of business, and proceed throughout the rest of Kalimdor. The Alliance side follows the same pattern, using Elwynn Forest in place of Durotar.

This detour adds about 11 minutes to the bot's overall /played time for Ogres and Trolls. Much less, if it takes the taxis. Recall that BloodElves and Undead had to do continent-hopping resulting in a similar delay. Tauren have to come from Thunderbluff incurring the same penalty. This is obviously a sub-optimal flow for the Ogres and Trolls, as you have pointed out. But, it makes everything 'common' quickly, which is beneficial for a number of reasons.

What you are describing is Navigational issues--which are not profile-related. Probably the easiest thing to do is to correct this is to place the toon on the ground on a path, dismount, then start Honorbuddy again.

I was able to identify a testbed for one of the failure modes of the Flightor stuck handler. A team member is currently looking at this problem. I'm not sure your stuck failure mode is quite the same--as yours appeared to recover, but the testbed I've located does not.

The camera-issue is not a profile-related issue either--its a WoWclient bug. I've experienced that on occasion myself, and know how annoying it can be. Indeed, it can even happen to 'normal' players (that are not botting). How I usually manage to correct it, is to hit the HOME or END key to cycle through the cameras. Usually one of the camera positions will zoom into 'first person view', and from there, you can zoom back out. However, on occasion the issue is uncorrectable, and you simply have to shutdown and restart the WoWclient.

Wullie is spot on with this?the problem is a Navigational issue, and not a profile problem. In fact, the profile is not even running while a Vendor-run (mail/sell/repair) is being conducted.

This report actually belongs in the Honorbuddy Bug Reports thread thread, if you'd be so kind to report it there.

Thanks for the offer of a testbed, but you should move on with your toon. I've captured the issue to Known Bugs List: MoP 85-90.

As stated previously, another team member is working the MoP profiles at the moment, and will see what he comes up with.

In Felwood queste he never goes to the mobs but does not attack, can kill rather than attacking. what I have to adjust so that he again defends safe and queste executes?

been using your profiles for a while now (the grinding profiles, since they are a little more AFKable.

I just wanted to inform you that the lvl 15 - 17 grinding area in Barrens (1-60 Orc Bottom) always targets the Kor'Kron Demolisher lvl 90 elite. so I have added this into the profile

under the Avoid Mob tab I added this as well:

Doe's kicks profiles still come with quest behaviors?I don't see it in svn folder.

 

Hey, recently got honorbuddy and this levelling profile, installed it and its great but it sometimes get stuck at random places, not handing quests in, stuck at mailboxes, are these known issues or should i go into more depth?

LK 68-80 need little update im lvl 78 /Alliance/ and questing borean tundra -.-

 

I'm having the same problem, level 77 now and done with Borean Tundra quests, now it wants to go to Howling Fjord. It did this in Outlands too.. (I was level 66 but still compiled Hellfire Peninsula quests, so I assume I would need to do the same for Cata, MoP quests as well. I assume this is an easy fix but I can't pinpoint it. Thanks for any help

Open up the profile with your favorite text editor and find where it says <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckPoints="True"> and change it to <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckPoints="False">, and restart honorbuddy while reloading the profile.

 

Quest behaviors that are used by Kick's profiles come with honorbuddy by default.

 

There's an issue with honorbuddy's stuck handler which has been resolved and will be fixed in an upcoming update.

 

Bot having problems in borean tundra trying to get into warsong hold, just flies to the top of it and back down, had to manually put my guy inside

What you are describing sounds like a problem with your Combat Routine, and not the profile. Please make a post into the Support forum regarding this issue, and be certain to attach your log that captures the problem.

I'm looking at v2783 of the [H - Quest] 12-58 K-EK [Kick].xml profile, and it already contains an entry for Kor'Kron on line 56.

I double-checked NPC #71005, and WoWHead claims the NPC is no longer in game. I wonder if its ID has changed.

If you are certain the ID is correct, and Honorbuddy is not avoiding the mob, then please make a post to the Support forum regarding the issue. The profile has already used all the tools at its disposal to prevent you from engaging the mob.

I'm level 65 and since I was level 58, My toon has been running around the western side of Terokkar Forest repeatedly killing bog monsters and not completing any quests. The log says something about going to various hot spots.
I've had to, basically, battleground my way up to the level that I'm at currently. I'm using the [Fly][H - Quest] BC 58-70 [Kick].xml profile.

Some of what you describe sound like Navigational issues, and other things you describe sound like they could be profile issues. Please follow our guide to Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance to help parse through the issues.

Wherever you post for help, please include the full log that captures the issue, and let's address one problem at a time?not the whole spectrum.

As Lilsavalex points out, it seems one of our maintainer's checked in updates with IgnoreCheckpoints="True'. I make this mistake a lot, miself. This issue has been corrected in v2784.
