Hey folks. First of all, this should not be understood as a criticism of an otherwise very fine program, but something has happened with Honor Buddy within the last 3 days as you do not take seriously. You come with the same solutions to the problem and it helps unfortunately nothing. I have updated my singular, made a clean reinstall of the program. manually made a tons a quest in Cataclysme area. my toon still runs around with his head under his arm like a chicken without head. flying in a circle, have not made a single quest from lvl 80 2 days ago all seemed perfect, it has almost lvl'ed 35-80 unattended. no deaths etc. I'm not sure you can find something out from the logs you ask for, since it's the same thing you suggest as a solution. But here's my last. I hope you get updated HB soon or recognize that something is wrong with the program. thank you in advance for an otherwise really good program.[SUP][/SUP] sincerely Dopamine
Here is a log where it wont walk to the quest area. It has just finished 2-3 quests, so major improvment from earlier
They are.. It's the first thing I update when turning on the computer Im using Kick's mega pack BTW. Dont know if that makes any difference?
download the latest version of honorbuddy from here. http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy after that do a CLEAN Install into a new folder, do not re-install to an previous installation and do not copy over any plugins, combat routines or quest behaviors into this new installation.
Hi Dopamin, I'm a little uncertain what state we are in on this thread. I'm looking at your last log and see this: [14:27:31.552 D] Styx.InvalidObjectPointerException: Cannot read a descriptor on an invalid object. at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWObject.[](UInt32 ) at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.get_CharmedByUnitGuid() at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.get_CharmedByUnit() at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.get_OwnedByUnit() at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.get_OwnedByRoot() at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWUnit.get_SafeName() at Honorbuddy.QuestBehaviorCore.UtilityBehaviorSeq.Interact.<CreateChildren>b__29(Object context) in c:\Users\Rasmus Findinge\Desktop\Honorbuddy 2.5.8179.697\Quest Behaviors\QuestBehaviorCore\UtilityBehaviors\Interact.cs:line 112 This is a problem with the InteractWith behavior. InteractWith, in its current state, does not work for objects that 'go invalid' immediately after an interaction. InteractWith was not originally design for these types of encounters, yet some profiles used them in these encounters. In the next release of Honorbuddy, we reworked InteractWith to work in these situations where it was not originally designed to work. For now, the only solution you've got is to manually work around the current misuse of InteractWith. cheers, chinajade
