      Hello All

Just had both my accounts receive the same 72 hours suspension e-mail

      "Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/services/anti-gold/

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment:Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website https://us.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here: https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

For any disputes of this action or further information on exploitive activity, please visit the Account Administration Overview and contact page here: http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/300515

      Regards,
      "

Now one account was simply grinding timeless isle for coins, the other account was doing LFR. I bot maybe 6 hours a day on each account, and have been bottling for over 3 years now and never had any issues. I did notice some roll back notification when i initially logged onto HB today (29/10/2013) and hit yes, but other then that nothing out of the ordinary.

I always use the Honorbuddy launcher always rename the .exe, never use the same profile on each acocunt and so on. So im rather unsure what caused it.

Now given that its only a 3 day suspension, does that mean the accounts are red flagged so to speak and i shouldn't bot on them again as they might be keeping an eye on them, or would i be safe to keep botting again?

      Cheers

I would personally wait a couple weeks. Just to be on the safe side. Blizz hit me with the ban hammer about 4 days ago, so im just gonna hold off for a month or so.

Was it out of the blue that they hit you with a ban, or something you might have done that triggered it? How long was your ban for?

I was raiding when I received the ban. Right in the middle of a boss fight and they kicked me off the server. My ban was for 72 hr and I know what triggered it. I was botting on timeless like a retard. What were you doing when you received yours?

When people say they got banned and they have no clue why. They are lying like hell lol. I love reading the posts when people were shocked that they got banned. What probably happened was that someone reported you and a bored gm checked your toon out for a minute and watch the movement of the bot. Good thing the gm wasn't a dick cause botting is most times a perms ban.
