HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Hi,
First of all thanks for the great profile, its run a lot faster than grinding. However I have one problem with using ARelog with this profile in particular. ARelog will launch honorbuddy and WoW fine however there is a pop up message that you must accept before honorbuddy starts which I have to do manually. Its the INFORMATION popup where it says "Cava Plugin must use TortoiseSVN to download profiles. Make sure you have it installed". I need to manually click ok on this message for Honorbuddy to start, which it does do once I press ok. However if the bot disconnects when I'm sleeping and honorbuddy restarts etc I cant click the message and it kind of defeats the purpose of ARELOG.

Do you know any way around this?

Having a problem getting the bot to move from Grizzly Hills to Zul'Drak. I have tried stopping and restarting the bot several times, even closing HB and restarting it. My character is 76. I even went so far as to change the checkpoints for ZD from 76 down to 75. I have checked and I do have QuestOrder IgnoreCheckPoints="False". Not sure what's going on here, but it seems like this has been an issue with the northrend profile for a while.

This thread is for Kick's profile pack. If you're trying to run Cava's profile pack, you need to ask in his thread.

In either case, you must attach the full log that captures the issue for anyone to help you with the problem.

I update the svn every night automatically. So they should be the most up to date

 

Singular vs Questbot in Hyjal

So the questbot want to go in other direction and the singular want to go in other direction its looks like schizophrenia.

DOnt know its questbot or singular fail so i post in both section.

Of course, we will absolutely respond to your posts if the issue is indeed profile-related. Just be aware that if your posts gets archived from this thread without comment, then it wasn't a profile issue.

For some reason, the bot stops processing the profile directives when it wants to fly to pick up a quest. I've spent a fair bit of time looking at the log trying to figure out how this could possibly happen. This is basic Honorbuddy functionality that works for everyone else, so there is something with your particular setup.

You've obviously got issues with some of your plugins:

Even disabled plugins and combat routines can cause problems, if not written correctly. For instance, the static initialization messages we see here are from a *disabled* plugin:

There is also this *very* disturbing log entry where the problem occurs:

This clearly shows the clock going 'backwards', which simply should not be possible--even in a multi-threaded system. (The logging facilities are common to all threads, and it is they that add the timestamp.)


Either a plugin or combat routine is interfering with proper Honorbuddy operation. So, the first corrective action I would try...
...would be to switch your Combat Routine back to Singular, and see if the problem goes away.


The second thing I would try...
...would be a 'clean install' of Honorbuddy. Instructions here:

If it gets this far, please be certain the profile works with the 'clean install', before you start adding back plugins or combat routines.


The last thing to do, is simply a work-around...

• Manually Turn in Softening the Blow - Quest - World of Warcraft
• Manually Pick up Brothers in Battle - Quest - World of Warcraft
• Start Honorbuddy again

If still no joy, please show us the log that fails from the clean install.

Can not get the bot to gather in BC profile

Hello.

I turn on Quest bot and ticks on the boxes that indicated gathering of minerals and herb, when i start the bot after this it automaticly un-tick the boxes and does not gather anything. I got over 300 in bouth mining and herbalism.
if i go into setting while the quest bot is running, and turn gathering on again, nothing is happening, the bot just does quests as normal without picking upp nodes.

Whan can be done to get the gathering going during questing again?

For your information, i think there is info in the log that comes professionbuddy and gathering profiles. But the last part of the logg is from questbot and kick profiles not gathering nodes.

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately I've leveled past that profile and can't try anything to see if it fixes the problem. If it's worth noting, every other checkpoint before and after worked just fine. Started up in sholazar basin right at 77 just fine. /shrug Guess we may never know. Thanks again for your hard work on this project!

You cannot successfully alter settings while Honorbuddy is running--it must be stopped. This article gives more information on the matter:

After the cutscene for the quest A Vision of the Past (QuestID:26320) the bot stops with the follow error.

I understand this. But it still would not gather anything when i enable gathering before i start the bot. When the bot is running i can see that the settings is enabled for gathering in the bot settings, but the bot just flyes and runs stright past nodes that i am in level range to pick up.

When i run GB2 f.eks it gather nodes with no problem.

I have installed a fresh copy of honorbuddy with just pimpmyguild as an additional addon. Same thing happens. is it something in the profile i need to change? Any other advices? Need more info?
I understand that the questing profile sometimes disable gathering and thats no problem, but for 2 leveles in hellfire it hasent gather a singel node

If you are uncertain where the problem belongs, and the guide for Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance doesn't contain enough information for helping you figure it out, then please post into the Support forum. That's what they're there for.

We're always glad to have a look here, but if its not a profile issue, we're simply going to archive it.

If the settings are indeed enabled (and still set), then this is not an issue with the profile. Please make a new thread in the Support forum. Describe your precise problem, and attach the log.

Kick's profiles don't control the harvesting of resources at all. Unlike a GB2 profile, a questing profile does not contain harvesting directives. Honorbuddy weaves the harvesting activities in while the profile is running.

It looks like the GoThruPortal behavior may be another casualty of the Honorbuddy re-architecture. We'll try to have a look at this the next time we're through the area.

I woke up at 6am and started the bot before I went to work. I was around level 20 when I started it. I came home, at 5:30 PM and I was stuck in Ashenvale at coordinates 72.72 60.95 while mounting a Dragon Turtle. It had been there for hours and hours at level 23, in the doorway because the mount was to big. I suggest you add in a feature that if you are stuck while mounted that you make it so he tries to dismount or something.

Edit: It was trying to go to the vendor to sell some Junk.

is possible to use the profile Kick to low level quests, with my lvl 90 character? and how to do?

 

Try changing "ignore checkpoints="false"" to "ignore checkpoints="true"" in whichever profile you're running. That's not the exact wording, but just search the profile in question with ctrl + F for the word ignore.

 

ETA would be awesome
