On my server both prices are relatively close, so i'm just wondering which do you guys think would sell faster and be better to farm for good gold per hour~
If you asked me that question a couple years ago I would have said farm ore and not leather because killing mobs for leather seemed to flag botters more often and was more risky. Now with the amount of GB2 bans, I don't think the risk factor is that different if they're both done in moderation. If the prices are about the same on your server then my advice would be to choose whichever has the least competition (check your server AH and UJ) and whatever is selling more frequently (wowuction).
Im thinking we can close this poll, a friend of mine said i should do JC + Enchanting for best gold making method~ gonna stick with that, sorry guys =P thanks for stopping by =P
I think the days of JC being highly profitable are gone tbh. I farm both Ore and Leather with different toons; leather brings in more gold per stack but ore sells a larger quantity and you can farm ore a lot faster. For the sake of earning money I would say Ore to a private buyer
It depends; the other night I left my guy mining with randombuddy plugin on for about 3 hours without monitoring it. That's probably the most I'll leave it to gather at once. Same with skinning. And I tend to be doing other things nearby or on my PC so I can monitor it every now and then. Probably gather for a maximum of 6-8 hours a day, and I raid/level other toons in the mean time
That's an interesting plugin, so what that does is randomly switches ore and skinning profiles so that you're never using the same profile/same routes or paths for an extended period of time? Have any of your accounts ever been banned from gathering?
[POLL] Which is the better Money Maker? Ghost Iron Ore (OR) Skinning Exotic L... It's a mining profile. And it random generates a profile in the area(s) you select and switch after an x time. My farmer is mine/herb so I just turn on herb gathering in gather buddy and let it run.
I prospected 100 stacks of ore and made 13k. That's without using the undermine to find most profitable. You can easily make 10k a day with buying ore and shuffling+salesman. If your greedy use gb2 if not buy the ore and spend your /played shuffling and running salesman.
