I have been having an issue with Honorbuddy lately, I haven't used Honorbuddy is a few weeks, but I also just updated my video card driver from a 2012 version to the most recent driver. I am using a Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 card. Anyways I haven't used Honorbuddy in a few weeks and now when I run my Honorbuddy Launcher I click Launch and then world of wacraft opens and flashes on my screen a bunch of times then I get the following error and then the Honorbuddy login screen shows up and this error: World of Warcraft was unable to start up 3D acceleration. Please make sure DirectX9.0c is installed and your video drivers are up-to-date. I know my drivers up to date, I am running dx11. My dxdiag doesn't show any errors and I am having no issues with World of Wacraft in general just when trying to run HB threw the launcher. I am on Windows 7 64 bit and I have tried running wow under 32 bit and 64 and both say that honorbuddy cannot find a 32bit to attach to. I checked my logs and all they say are [19:41:09.423 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.10121.730 started. Thanks for any help in advance!
Yup tried google, can't post on Wow forums for obvious reasons because its only happening with HB runs wow, if I run it threw battle.net app or just regularly it runs with no issues thats why I was thinking HB isnt agreeing with something or something isnt working like it should so I figured maybe someone on here would have similiar experiences with this issue. I'll look for help else where thanks for the reply!
" Please make sure DirectX9.0c is installed" Here: Download DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime from Official Microsoft Download Center Install it. You can do this under DX11. It may be a requirement for one of your plugins or CC's... Or a interface you're running on top of the game.
He is running the game in DX9 most likely... and it's trying to render in it. He needs DX9 installed (Latest).
dont use the honorbuddy launcher. change wow to start in direct x 9 mode from your battle.net launcher or your wow launcher.
