      So I'm milling on my toon, about 5 bags full of panda herbs. I'm using BG's miniprofession. about an hour into milling, i get DCed. since i'm watching it, i relogged in. another 30mins into that session, again i get DCed. Very odd since I'm at 15ms/22ms latency. I figured I'll take a break after my last bag is done. Just then, I am DCed yet again. When I relogged, I get the in-game notification that I been banned and to redirect to their website.

      After logging in my WoW account, sure enough it's saying I am banned. But the odd thing is, I have yet to received an e-mail. SO I figured to show Blizz they are trippin I'll beat them to first at making contact. So i opened a ticket. Basically in my ticket, i was asking what happen???

      Shortly after I finished and submitted my ticket, in my mailbox I get this:
      A user of the above account has recently been involved in actions deemed inappropriate for the World of Warcraft by the In-Game Support staff of Blizzard Entertainment. This decision was made after a thorough investigation of the situation as a whole.

      When a harassment report is made, all players involved in the incident are subject to review, which may result in account penalties. Though we are unable to discuss the outcomes of our investigations due to privacy concerns, rest assured that this incident has been looked into very thoroughly, and the appropriate actions have been taken on all involved accounts.

      Any disputes or questions concerning the following account action can only be addressed by Account Administration. To learn more about how Account Administration is able to assist you, please visit us at http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/cs .

      Offense: Abuse of Game Mechanics

      The distinction between exploiting bugs and abusing game mechanics is a fine one. While bug exploitation involves the abuse of what is essentially a programming mistake, the abuse of game mechanics is the act of taking advantage of the limitations of the World of Warcraft game systems. Since the line between the sanctioned use and the abuse of game mechanics is sometimes unclear, we prefer to educate players before taking any action against the account being used. This category includes using/distributing game mechanics in a manner unintended by their design that:

      * Damages another character, their gameplay, the service itself and/or its economy


      pretty Vague on blizzard's part.

      backinfo, i been lowballing prices of glyphs and shoulder enchants in teh AH... i did it to annoyed the AH botters. Guess they resorted to reporting me. but really--- they are online 24/7 reposting items on AH yet want to bring Blizzard into this.

      anyways, less than 1hr later i get this e-mail:

      1, GM#1 caught you botting.
      2, GM#2 got you ticket before gm#1 could submit your ban to the "GM archive".
      3, GM#2 made up an excuse because they failed.
      4, You won.

      i find it rather silly to even bother banning me for using a milling profile though.

      still sucks cuz your account has now been banned that dont go away, if you ever get in trouble again they read notes they don't care once they get repeated comlains or BS they will bann you and they dont need a reason they own your account and they know that 99% of the times banned toons buy new games and they make more money..
