Is it normal? My character in POE moveing like a robot. Its a bit slow :/ (Move 5 meter, stop for 0.1sec move 5 meter stop 0.1 sec...) Why is it?
Movement input changed for exploration to try and fix the bot not moving at all due to recent client changes. It uses a click to move method that might make the animation not look as smooth. We'll see how it goes though, as if it didn't change, your bot would just stop and not move again until you turned on cursor debugging.
I'm afraid its build within the core and you have no control over it, unless you write your own botbase
I must say this is really annoying certainly for people who watch their bots. It is a really inefficient way of moving so slowly stop and go everywhere. I honestly preferred the other way better the bot still gets stuck from time to time anyways. Really i see no difference other then stop and go.
i agree the new movement system is a failure it stuck twice as much dont use quicksilver flask and ITS SO SLOW !!!! i feel like i use exiled bot..... its i huge walk back. and we look like dumbass in town ....it need to be fixed imediatly
I added a note about Quicksilver here. The new movement system isn't a failure. It's not even "new". The bot has been using it for months now, just in different places. However, there was an issue that I think was causing the problems you guys were seeing, so the new Release will confirm if that was the case.
With the new version (45) the character movement seems way better! thanks for the quick fix I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but i've some questions. I would like to know where can we change the completion map %. As i can see the bot always go for the 100% map check, loosing a lot of time if we want quicker farming runs. Where can we change the flasks settings? (For example use life flask when hp goes to 60%, use instant life flask when hp goes to 10%, use "x" pot before opening strongbox,..) Where can we put a option to change zone and re-enter new instance if a portal is close (so we leave and re enter to clean the zone). Thanks in advance, and good work with the bot Cheers
Good to hear! The current bot doesn't support most of what you asked about. The new Beta, when it is finished, should. Basically, the game has changed so much since the first version of EB was released, that the logic we've had for a lot of things no longer are good enough. We've tried to fix various things and hack in support as time went on, but they tend to break down the more the game changes. At this point, the best course of action is to rewrite large portions of the bot (which is happening with beta right now) and take into account the current state of the game and work from there. Rewriting large portions of the bot is pretty time consuming, and challenging at times, so that's why things are taking a while to be addressed (e.g. all the known issues in the SoTV thread).
First I'm very appreciated with pushedx 's hard works. But this is really a big project and it seems that you're so lonely in programming & answering member's issues ...
I understand. It's really hard to keep everything updated and smooth with their constant patchs being released.. with all that, the time to "new work" gets reduced. As you said: "The current bot doesn't support most of what you asked about". I guess something is already possible to be made. So, what is supported? ("I would like to know where can we change the completion map %. Where can we change the flasks settings? Where can we put a option to change zone and re-enter new instance if a portal is close?") Thanks in advance and continue the good work pushedx
You can change flask settings in Exile.cs. You'd modify some of the values in in CreateFlaskLogic. This system will be changing in the new beta version, as flask logic will be moved out of the CR and into a different system altogether. To change completion %, you have to edit the "GrindBot Settings.json" file. It'll be in Settings\Character\League\Name. You'll want to set LimitMaxPercentExploredPerInstance to true and then change MaxPercentExploredPerInstance to something like 75 for 75%, and so on. That system should work, but it's rather old and might have bugs. Exploration logic is tried into the bot itself right now, so there's not much users can do to customize it.
he's not lonely, he's got me to chat with =), and he loves what he's doing so hence his work is reflected in the quality of the bots.
