1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account?
      Gatherbuddy

2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?:
      Release

3)If so, when was the last time?:
More than 12 hours ago, they were banned 30 minutes ago.

      4)What profile were you using?:
      Randombuddy

5)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:
      Default

      6)What plugins are you using?:
      Blacklister, Nobothere, randombuddy

7)How many hours per day did you bot for?:
Both accounts have been precisely one month old, pretty nice of Blizzard to ban me minutes before buying a timecard. ^^ I haven't even botted that much, I've maybe botted for 6-10 days on both accounts, between 2 and 7 hours a day.

8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?
80% of the time I was on the computer, would check every now and then and chat a bit. I'm to be honest really surprised that both bots have been banned, as I've only had both accounts exactly a month, botted maybe 10 days max and 2-6 hours on those days. I would chat regularly and only received one whisper on 1 account that they would report me (and i responded within 5 seconds).

9)How many auctions per day did you have?:
      0 auctions on these accounts.

10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?
      No.

11)Was your account involved in gold selling?
      No

      12)EU or US realm?
      EU

13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account?
      Paid account.

I don't get why I've been banned, maybe someone can shed some light on this? In a month time I've maybe farmed for 30-40 hours total, never more than 3 hours at a time, 80% of the time i was watching, i would chat pretty often, 0 auctions. Also did some timeless isle and oldschool raids.

I've been reading through more posts on this forum. I see peopole who farm 3-4x as much as me and they only get 72 hour suspensions, while I get a permanent ban? How does blizzard decide who gets a suspension and who gets a ban?

No one other than GMs can tell you for sure what criteria they use for bans. My educated guess would be that there were a lot of reports against you.

I don't know how they decide. I got once perma banned, I reply to them that it is some kind of mistake. My account was investigated by a GM and after a few days I got a message that no foul play was detected. They lifted the ban.

So maybe it was an automated ban due some server scripts or because of reports.

There is something, which have changed server side since few months. Alot of same-time bans, happen on bots, farming on single machine (Excluding VMs, usually same IP)

Which means, they do check somehow that you run several bots in the same machine. The interesting part - they had never banned non-bot accounts on these machines, which were currently online, or the bots, which had nearly no botting background.

For example I got hit on 2/3 accounts last month, and the 1/3 which dodged the ban was just reactivated the same day, the others were fresh accounts, with x-ferred lvl90 gatherbot from already suspended account, which was botting since ~3 weeks.

As tip: Do bot on shifts, so no more than 1-2 bots at a time got running on single machine/IP, atm I run 3 bots on 1hour rotation each!

TLDR: We must adobt the blizz pattern on banning, there is no way around :/
