Gibbering Gemstone/Frozen Blood/Urn of Quickening Farm - Bounty Only

This is my first profile. I wrote it for myself to farm Gibbering Gemstone, but no harm posting it here I guess. I have only tested this on a barbarian so far.

Ran on Barbarian on T2. Had something close to 300-400m EXP/hr and 900k gold/hr 8 urns of quickening, 3 frozen blood, 0 gibbering gemstone Deaths due my bot ignoring all AoEs and ground effects.

Process:

1. Creates a game in adventure mode
2. Checks if the bounty for Caverns of Frost exists (other one checks if bounty for Icefall caves exists. If so, then leave game)
3. Leaves game if it doesn't, otherwise take the waypoint
4. Checks each of the 6 possible spawn locations
5. Kills stuff within 5 radius as to not get stuck (you can turn combat off, but my barb gets stuck in my test runs)
6. Enters the caverns when it is found.
7. Find level 2, and clear the map

Contains:

• 1 Resplendant Chest
• 0-2 Cursed Chests
• ~3 Chests
• 3-4 Elites
• Zelusa drops Urn of Quickening
• Chiltara drops Gibbering Gemstone/Frozen Blood

Notes:

• You may want to turn up/down container open range depending on if you would like to open the Cursed Chests that spawn on Bridge of Korsikk.
• I realize that CoF spawns when the bounty doesn't, but it seems faster to just restart until there's a bounty.
• Edit the file if you want to remove instant leave, the line is commented.
• Written and tested on Demonbuddy v1.1.1788.355, Trinity v1.8.20

Edit: forgot to post feedback back then, it was mostly running fine. I think it just missed the cavern 1 out of 10 times when it was somewhat close to spawn point (at least in map marker range)

 

If it errors when you load the profile, I accidentally uploaded the wrong xml file about a minute before you posted. It's fixed now.

Ran it for another 2 hours, 9 urns of quickening and 2 frozen blood. pls gibbering gemstone

 

Awesome idea, and just an update on the gemstone, I been running Meet's profile for the caves and it took 671 runs to finally get the gemstone... Yes it still does drop but not like it use to, kind of lame but it does drop. Going to test you profile thou as well even thou i got it since I did get two thunderfurys running all that time, and I was doing it on normal to speed it up since the stone drops in any difficulty.

 

anyway to implement something to run if it doesn't find the correct bounty? I dont like the idea of it leaving games so fast continuously

 

Well, usually people who farm it legitly would just remake until bounty anyways. But I can add a version where it'll check as long as there isn't a bounty for Icefall caves.

which profile did u use and on which difficulty ?

 

Doesn't work anymore. It leaves as soon as it enters level 2 (which is where Chiltara is).

 

Still works for me, though I haven't updated Trinity or DB since I don't want anything I use to break.

 

Ran that one for a bit lately (without any luck on the Gem drop) and it still works pretty well. There just seem to be a dungeon entrance the bot is missing (I'll try to remember to collect coordinates next time I run the profile) and it keeps exploring even after bounty is finished (I guess that makes sense, to guarantee that you open the resplendant/cursed chests), but otherwise it's running flawlessly here.

But even with the time spent recreating games over and over, I still get 1+ LPH in T2 with XPH between 500-600m on my HotA barb. Which makes it rank at decent-nice as a farm profile imo (with the chance of finishing ponyland access as a bonus). And even bots get bored of killing Ghom over and over, they need some fresh air every now and then!

 

Seems no one made a Chiltara profile compatible with Trinity 1.9/QT 2.0, so I took the liberty to update this one to use the new tags.

Only tested with one successful run so far, so not sure if it's reliable yet.

Edit: a few weird stuff (it zones back and forth a few times between level 1 and 2 on occasion) but it works

 

well I have tried every gibbering gemstone profile over the past 3 days and 6+hour farming on each and still not had one drop got 42 urns of quickening, no frozen blood and no gibbering gemstones

RNG gods hate me I guess

 

Yep same here, probably ran it for 10-15 hours total over the last few weeks and no luck. What is even sadder is that some people are trying to get it manually

 

after a mere 16 hours botting I finally got 1 gemstone!!! (+ 12 legendaries, 56 urns of quickening and 1 frozen blood...) and they say chiltara isn't bugged lmfao

Thanks for the work here. I'm looking to make a staff of herding and this is a real tough one. The only profile that seems to work is this last link, the others one seem to just search the map endlessly or end the game before hitting the caves.

My only trouble here is that the bot seems to go up and down on level one and not use the door sometimes. He goes up to it then turns around.

Seems to miss level 2 quite a lot actually. Walks to it, and turns around aimlessly, until the gold inactivity timer trips. more often than not.
