Yes Quest Bot works good. For this Toon i use Kicks Profile. No i dont need to install Quest Behaviors, they are all shipped with the HB Product.

Hi, Habakuk, and thanks for the log.

Your Honorbuddy is getting exceptions. This is not a profile problem. I'd start by rebooting your box—this usually clears up "GreyMagic" errors. If that yields no joy, you might try clean-installing Honorbuddy.

      cheers,

      Hi again, Ordell.

Since the issue isn't profile-related, it can happen at any time. The problem may be repaired if you update to Honorbuddy v2.5.10811.740. I know there were some navigational repairs made in the last couple of Honorbuddy drops.

      cheers,

Hi, Leespineylee, and many thanks for the log!

This is not a profile problem, but a problem with cache corruption. This article should help you sort the problem:

      Hi, Kammeyer25,

Many thanks for this! We don't know how the target levels could've been so goobered up. Your repair should be in v3309.

      cheers,

      Hi again, Ordell,

One issue you were having, is there were several players in the area, and 'non compete' checks were kicking in. These will expire in 90secs or so for each item it wants to interact with. However, for the four safe object requiring interaction for The Sub-Chieftans, we marked them as not requiring competition checks. We've made this refinement in v3310.

The profile is issuing the correct directives for the quest. In particular it issues the dismount directives correctly. But, clearly this is failing and preventing you from completing the quest. We cannot fathom why the dismount would fail other than from a damaged Honorbuddy installation. You might want to look doing at a "clean install".

The 'bouncing in and out of the water' is an HBcore navigator problem. It looks like you've got "Use Framelock" enabled and TicksPerSecond set appropriately. There's nothing the profile can do to abate this issue, but there is a good chance it has been repaired in HB .740.

      cheers,
      chinajade

Hi, Azidtrip, and thank you for the log!

In v3311, we believe we have the problem with turning in "The Eyes of Skettis" corrected.

      cheers,

      Hi, Ordell,

Sorry you're still having problems. But the log you've attached only shows you having problems logging in with Honorbuddy.

Hi, Tumbum, and thanks for the log and screenshot.

Without the screenshot, we wouldn't have understood what you are talking about. We believe the WoWclient is dropping te quest because a plugin is removing Ken-Ken's Mask from your inventory. The first suspect would be Mr. ItemRemover2, but it could be any of them.

If you'd like to confirm this, please try the quest with a clean Honorbuddy installation. If it works, you'll know where to start looking to eliminate the source of the problem.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi again, Kirbypro,

Kick's questing profiles work fine. No additional quest behaviors need to be installed. Please do a 'clean install' as our previous response to you recommended.

      cheers,

      Hi, Wifi,

This sounds like a problem with your Combat Routine. Go back to Singular, and all should be well. The profile cannot control what attacks your Combat Routine uses.

If you would like the problem analyzed further, please attach a full log the next time it happens.

      cheers,

      Hey there!
This sure looks great, I have tried it now from lvl 86 using the correct profile. I get stuck at quests almost everytime and have to stop the bot and correct it. Am I doing something wrong? Everything is up to date, and I have searched the bug list but the quests isnt listed there. http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29910 This is one of many quests i had to correct, the character didnt click to remove the rodents nor did it fill the holes.
Is it my settings that is wrong?
Anyways, hoping for a good answer! :)

Well the macro is up to its old tricks again. I ground out a bunch of levels to 76. Now he just runs around Storm Peaks killing mobs but not taking quests. I moved him to cities with quests, he wouldn't take them.

      Hi!

Ever since I had to change the SVN-url I havent got the bot to start properly..
Not quite sure what the reason is, and everything is up to date.

Attaching a log and a screenshot of the HB-client.

I asked this before, however, I am asking again since Companions and such were released :

Please update your profiles in the SVN as follows :

      Code:
          <SellGrey>true</SellGrey>
          <SellWhite>false</SellWhite>
          <SellGreen>false</SellGreen>
          <SellBlue>false</SellBlue>
          <SellPurple>false</SellPurple>

          <MailGrey>false</MailGrey>
          <MailWhite>true</MailWhite>
          <MailGreen>true</MailGreen>
          <MailBlue>true</MailBlue>
          <MailPurple>true</MailPurple>

The reason for this is because of the following :

White Items you WANT, without adding exceptions for nearly every item/mat in the game -- simply DO NOT VENDOR
      • Companions are White
      • Cloth is White
      • Expensive mats are White (leather, ore, etc)
      • Tabards
      • Other misc things are white that are worth keeping (Balls, Paper Planes, etc) (yes, some white items are garbage... but most ... is good)

      Green Items
      • BoE for disenchanting
      • Some companions
      • Special trinkets that change appearance or do something else thats cool.
      • Other things not listed here

      Blue Items
      • BoE blues especially
      • BoA's
      • Some companions
      • Other special items/trinkets/rings/bag items/doodads

Purple Items -- Really don't need to explain this one... they are purple....

Presently, your profiles are failry inconsistent in this area, and flag for vendor (depending on the profile), some or all of the above.

My suggestion is for you to do one of the following >>

      >>> Globalize these so they can be edited in ONE SPOT,

      OR

      >>> Adjust them in the SVN so every file that adjusts how HB handles loot in the bag so they are all identical (makes it easy to do a search replace). Presently some files are missing declarations, while others may have duplicates ( I don't recall the specifics as I went through several files by hand --- repeatedly after each SVN update --- and made sure they were consistent )

Other than this, your questing profile is fantastic --- just this REALLY needs to be changed.... losing LOTS of gold potential and cool items --- like [Fishy] or [Mr Grubbs], cloth, etc.
