      Hello,

I started botting recently, and I'm starting to make some golds out of it, and I want to transfer them to my main account, do you have any suggestions to make it safe ? Face 2 face trading, guild bank, mail, auction house, etc... ?

I'm talking about 5K golds every time approximately.

      Thanks.

I just mail it to my main account. But im not selling it. I dont think there is any added risk if you plan to keep it for personal use. But that is my opinion, take it with a grain of salt. Also ive mailed over 100k from my farm account to my main.

I agree with webhond...guild bank I believe is the best option....I have heard about monitoring of mail before but not sure how true it is....

Thanks for your answers. Do you recommend using a private guild or a guild with some people in it to make it look legit ?

It may not matter so much but if you can develop a situation where you have multiple people in a guild from all over the world (or country) and there is a decent amount of funds going in and out of the Guild then it would add another layer of data for then to dig through. This is not to say its impossible to find mind you just harder. It's like people who are moving illegal money and they wire it through a multitude of banks around the work to end up at one location or someone trying to hide a signal by bouncing it all over the world. It still can be figured out just more time consuming with the core difference being your may look more legit than my examples which scream illegal. Its just a difficult situation to find or create unless you have multiple computers with spoofed ips and macs so it looks like different people and you make them all join the same guild and you make them all use the guild some being no botted accounts some botted but all depositing and withdrawing so that its hard to determine who's money is still inside the guild. I have done this to a degree with family and friends which has allowed me to save much of my funds from botting even when I get bans which "knock on wood" has not been a lot lately. But in all honesty I don't know if its how I do things or just dumb luck. Just depositing into a guild might prove safe enough. I can't help myself there as I wear three layer thin foil hats. lol

It may have changed, but some time ago, about a year or so, i was talking to a GM about theoretical stuff, and one of the things was about buying gold. He told me that buying gold is not something people get banned for. So if thats still true, then your main atleast shouldent be at any risk no matter how you transfer it. Your farming account however will still get banned for farming.

Plenty of people have personal guilds for their alts and their friends...i go the guild route personally. Only issue with an active guild is if theu don't know you're bottinf and someone figures it out and reports you. On the other hand plenty of people have had luck getting into guilds that werent full of botters but didn't care if you were one either so your mileage may vary.

The two things I find nerving is control of Guild bank and then yeah the reporting. This is why I went out and bought up a few lvl 25 guilds and kicked everyone and had some friends join me.....I told my friends that my nephew stays with me and I let him play and mostly at nights and if they don't get a response its probably him and he doesn't know them....Yeah I love doing my biz via GB.

while i somewhat agree with what you say... i have definitely lost an account due to selling gold (was a $5 battlechest with just a banker char on it, so no loss to me) 5 mins after trading face to face. Alternative point, i have sold gold in 200 - 500k 'chunks' many times without ever losing another account, through face to face, through selling items on AH and through GB withdrawl. all these sales to china websites too without any problem.

for my personal transferring i have 3 guild banks and deposit and withdrawl without any concern across all accounts. I have my main account which has character in each guild that is the guild leader (unbotted account). If i need to move gold between banks I just mail the gold between the characters on the same account, so it looks like personal use. it may be over the top cautious but shrug its no hassle to me. I have never had any problems with mailing as much as 500k between chars on the same account or moving the same figures from bank accounts.

He said buying, not selling. Of course selling will get you banned. Buying gold will not. Also to Kamanori, if they see you transferring gold to yourself they will ban both accounts. It just depends if they check. But to be safe guild bank is by far the safest. I have gotten accounts banned and they leave my account in tact, even if the guild bank was owned by the banned account.

I personally use a guild bank, its lvl 1 but im slowing lvling it using Kick's profiles :)

Obviously if you want several layers of protection then a lvl 25 guild with active members is the way to go. With all the addons available in game that let you auto invite players that have just spawned in as a lvl one i reckon you can even plead ignorance saying that u just invited this bot without knowing. There are loads of profiles on the forum that use guild banks instead of mailing, so it could look like its a new botter not knowing what hes doing :)
