      Hi, Hobo and Razer86,

Although it is possible to Farm raid trash (as long as you don't kill any bosses), none of the shipped DungeonBuddy scripts do this to my knowledge. You would need to write your own script to achieve what you seek.

Also, unlike Dungeons, you can't 'reset' a Raid. The trash only repops based on timers. This makes farming raids as you do dungeons, an ineffective proposition.

If you are trying to farm older dungeons for Tranmorgrify gear or such, then you may want to give a look at the quest-profile based offering from Botanist or EchoTiger. These should do what you seek.

      cheers,

      Hi, Kuku,

I don't believe it was DungeonBudy doing what you recall, but a plugin that allowed you to change your Combat Routine.

And no, Dungeonbuddy does not currently support this feature and not certain it ever did.

      cheers,

      Hi, Zwilliams,

Supporting older dungeons in heroic mode requires development effort that we believe is better spent elsewhere.

You should find more information in this post.

      Hi, B4ldur,

The pull rate of the DungeonBuddy tank is determined largely by the other party members, and the recovery time (health, mana, looting) they need between pulls. You want to make certain that these other members are equipped with food and drink that allows the fastest recover for their level. Also, to "go faster" you have to leave loot on the ground and set your "Loot Mode" to "Bosses Only".

Also, the latest drop of Singular has instituted a "Pull More!" option. I've yet to test this capability, and am not certain if it the configurable is honored inside instances.

      cheers,

      Hi, Wastaken,

If you need assistance, you'll need to attach the full log that captures the problem you are having.

      Cheers for the reply chinajade.

I was hoping to use the Farm option to have an alt follow my main around in a Normal Raid, do the fights and get some gear.
I copied and modified the scripts provided for use in Flex, which are working well enough to do the fights while I play my main. Am I correct in assuming in order to do the same in Normal, I would need to condense the separate LFR wing scripts into a single script/profile with the adjusted DungeonID? Would that then show up in the Raids tab as a selectable raid and pickup from where it is in the Raid, just like the LFR scripts do if it enters part way through?

Edit: Sorry I don't have a log for this one, but I have noticed Dungeonbuddy is unable to load the correct profile for the LFR, and sometimes loads the default profile, which gives the "Tanking is not supported" (Continue)/(Leave) options. I have temporally bypassed this by removing the IsMeTank check on load. Also, this is on my DPS/Healer toons, even with DB set to the correct roles rather than Auto.

if you do random as a full 5 man group and get a 5 man that DB doesnt support, will it leave and then requeue?

After the update, am I blind or is there no option for random heroic dungeon? I can see it for scenarios, but not for dungeons. I haven't used it in a while, so I might be missing something. Clean install.

edit: suddenly after 1 run, it appeared on its own. Strange

      Hi, Twisty,

Yes, it does. There is a popup dialog with a 30-second timeout. If you happen to be at the computer when this happens, Dungeonbuddy is trying to inform you why it is leaving the dungeon.

      cheers,

      Hi again, Razer86,

I'm not sure you can coerce DungeonBuddy into doing what you want. DB is only willing to tank when solo, or if the leader has a full group of Followers identified.

At one time, I tried doing what you seek by using one leader for DungeonBuddy, and PartyBot for the follower. The problem with that configuration is the boundary conditions:
      1. Since DB is unaware of the PartyBot follower (leader was configured for 'solo'), the leader doesn't wait for the PartyBot to enter/exit the dungeon. This causes problems with dungeon resets
      2. When DungeonBuddy goes to make a vendor run, the Party bot can get left behind.
Also, the PartyBot is rather clueless about where to go when its bags get full, or gear needs repair.
Good luck with your goal. I never got anything to work satisfactorily for AFK. I would up running my tank by hand and having the PartyBot follow. It was fun visiting some of the older dungeons again. And since they were raids, you can only do them once a week, anyway.

      cheers,
      chinajade

I apologize if I read everything incorrectly, but I did read through everything you posted. I have a 90 Blood DK I'm trying to have do LFR's completely by himself (with me monitoring and playing around on the internet in the background). I understand the dangers of doing full afk tanking. I'm watching it closely, but so far 3 LFR's it joined it pops up and says tanking is not supported for this instance, and wants to know if I want to continue. I click continue and it just sits there. I'm using Tuanha Death Knight for the class config and the only Plugin I have enabled is Refreshment Detection. Am I missing something or can it not actually run a raid as a tank by itself?

      Cheers again chinajade,

I dont mean to be completely afk with DB.
More so, on my tank run the raid (by hand/tyreal/whatever) and then have alt using DB follow along in Normal SoO and do the fights as per it would using the LFR scripts (with a few mods for the Normal mode mechanics) and get some gear as though it was another raider. I wouldn't need to worry about vendor runs, or raid resets as the alt would only enter the raid, turn on DB and have it follow the group perform the bosses.

In order to do this, would I need to merge the LFR wing scripts into a single SoO Normal script/profile?

I didn't see it mentioned in the patch notes, but there is now a new anti-AFK confirm that has to be done? Pops up at the start of every new LFR you enter? Guess the Farm mode is kind of dead now if wanting to queue for multiple LFRs at a time, and come back later?

Edit: Just saw another popup where the default selection after 30 seconds was just "Ok" and the instance could continue? So does it detect how long you've been afk and that's when it kicks you out now?

Great Bot, have certainly appreciated that time it has saved me!

I have noticed since the update yesterday that it is not accepting queues and ready checks. I manually accepted a queue this morning as it didn't take any prior. Upon going in and getting to the first boss they did a ready check, the bot did not accept it.

Other than that it appears to be running normal just thought I would give a heads up.

      Giovanni, its accepting both here,
maybe if u provide logs, your issue could be solved.

      @Razer86

Beside some weird transitions when the bot finish Sha, General etc, the scripts are decent w/o merge for Normal.
Yea, if someone care to merge them, including nav beyond the 2 portals after Sha and the elevator after General, would be great!

Is it possible to run dual spec? In the beta it looks like mixed mode is fixed (yay!) so could I quest as one spec and tank in dungeon buddy? I havent seen any information on it so I dont know if its possible or even to be worked on in the future.
