      Got this mail:
      Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behaviour is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Impact of Buying Gold - Shop - World of Warcraft

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website https://eu.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here: https://eu.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

What I notice was that all 3 were banned at the same time and 5 minutes prior to the ban my password was reset.

Automated ban, I know this because I've had the same thing happen, and actually got the bans lifted completely after putting in a ticket (the GM said they >MAY HAVE< detected 3rd party programs

No idea what causes the auto ban cause sometimes you can last a week, sometimes not, sometimes 24/7, sometimes not

I reckon there is a trip like kills/hr but it queues you with a random time until you get banned, that way its hard for us to determine what caused us ban

      sorry for your suspensions

All dungeons are watched by GMs manually.
Few days ago I saw a list of 44 (FOURTY FOUR!!!) druids lvl 90 farming one of the most popular low lvl instance, but it lasted only 2 days. Then ALL WERE BANNED and I have never seen them anymore.

And the same druid madness was on few more servers with the same nicknames. All banned. EVERYONE. So we all need to take a break with instance botting.

Could it be number of bosses killed or something? One bot was running through Gundrak and he wasnt banned

wish I knew the answer cause then I wouldnt be getting banned :D

ive had toons last over 1k boss kills some only last 200 kills

at the moment ive got a team running for 3 days straight so far

some dungeons i have seen have had 50+ druids and hunters etc in them, what i noticed is my toons only lasts about 1 day when that happens, so if you type /who gundrak if you are farming gundrak and you see 20+ toons in there i say RUN FOR YOUR LIFE DO NOT BOT THAT ONE

It would be great if the bot could determine how many others are in the instance and if its greater than some threshold then dont bot and go somewhere else :D

Well I was banned in dungeons where I was the only one farming so, it was auto detection, I suppose but maybe it's better for me if I just use a team that farms random hc dungeon to avoid those bans

72 hours is usually players reporting you by doing /who instancename, and sending in manual reports, at least from what ive experienced. I've tried with names that are tricky to get right, and they seem to be more successful.

I got this answer on my ticket it's a standard one but

Your World of Warcraft account is currently under a temporary suspension due to a breach of our policies. We have already sent an email with more details but can inform you that the suspension will last for 72 hours. You will be able to play again after this time.

Please note that no further action will be taken if there are no more breaches of the Terms of Use or policies. Check below for more information.

The game client may monitor your computer's RAM and/or CPU processes for unauthorized third party programs running concurrently with the game.

An unauthorized third party program is defined as any third party software (including Addons) that facilitates cheating; intercepts, mines or collects information from the game database; or allows modifying or hacking of the game interface, environment or experience in any way not expressly authorized by Blizzard Entertainment.
This action has been taken in accordance with our Terms of Use and our In-game Policies (In-Game and Forum Policies - Battle.net Support), which all players acknowledge and agree to prior to playing World of Warcraft. These policies and conditions allow us to maintain a fun and safe game environment for all of our players.

Our Battle.net Terms of Use can be found at Blizzard Entertainment: Battle.net Terms of Use. Further information on the different levels of account penalty we can apply is available at
      https://battle.net/support/article/200475.

We now consider this matter closed and would not look to enter into further discussion on the subject.

But it got me thinking, do you think it's better to keep the forum of honorbuddy closed, and maps with scripts also not on your computer? Cuz they can detect that?
