And... the same goes for WoD.

HB will be down for at least a few days until they iron out detection, that's Tony's #1 priority.

People who complain about HB being down for that length time need to chill out and READ. If Tony hadn't taken these precautions you'd have a banned account, THEN who'd you think people be blaming for their stupidity??! It's better a safer HB than a compromised account.

HB will also be in hole updating constantly for the next month, THEN another few weeks after WoD officially launches. It's quite obvious people don't understand the process of development for these tools, and need to stop pointing the finger at the developer when in fact the issue is Blizzard constantly updating WoW to derail the development of Bots.

 

Seems more likely that for the most part they're trying to fix all the shit they broke with the new content. That being said, I agree that people need to chill the hell out.

 

I kinda like the downtime, it puts stuff in perspective for me.

I was number 1 on Garrosh when I'm usually not. Maybe everyone normally bots or maybe Fury is just really good, I'm not sure but I do know it was still the most engaging raid I've done in awhile.

Now I get to get on my Druid and learn again how to heal!

The only fixes blizzard is doing are their own fucked up shits . I get really astonishing how a company like this one is doing this crap espansion for so many time and DONT EVEN TEST IT?!!?!?!?!?!?!? seriously ????

Apparently you didn't play the beta of vanilla...

Look at it this way, think of this pre-patch as a very broad version of the PTR for WoD. That's basically all we're getting right now.

They'll have most of the kinks worked out before the actual expansion comes.

 

i dont mean to single you out but your comments indicate a lack of knowledge in application development and programming. you can test something to exhaustion and still not expose an issue that is exposed in situations not accounted for in your test cases. People expect perfection. Those standards are a bit hard to reach for any person and any company.

Name one software company that meets those standards.

Sometimes I feel as if people never played wow while being conscious. They act like all this is something new lol. Or wait, maybe in the last expansions, they weren't as "hardcore" as they are now so maybe they just notice it. I hate to say it nubs, but this is the way this game has been every xpac. Get use to it.

 

bliz will continue to dish out small fixes for the next week or so until everything is stable. I doubt we'll be botting anytime soon. it happens every major patch im not suprise

 

There isn't much to do during the pre patch anyway unless blizzard releases more quest content or something.

Pvp gets old real quick since nothing is balanced around level 90 anymore, and it is just chaos.

The only use I see out of the prepatch for us botters is for combat routine devs to get stuff in line for xpac hits.

 

I expect another patch tomorrow as the servers have gone to utter crap, more lag more dc's and quite a few bugs again. Dont expect HB to be working for at least a week. Have fun guys!

 

hmm... I been having fun trying to script 1 button macro's.... blizz changed a lot in that api department to lol.

Says 24 hours, that doesnt include the ninja patch but even with a ninja patch im assuming it wont be too much longer.

 

I just resubbed WoW a few days ago in prep for the expac. I am gathering gold, selling mats that I had stored up, reacquainting myself with old friends and old places, and basically relearning the game. I used to own both Dugi's guide and Zygor's guide but neither seems necessary anymore with the new ingame map format. Even if HB is ready in a couple of weeks, I probably won't be ready to start botting until I have leveled at least one character to max level. I have over 20 level 90's, so I will definitely be in the thick of botting after that.

 

the squish bug is still there,i dunno what they are doing...Blizzard fails again on this one.No lvling in dungeons for now,mobs are way to op,even with full looms it 1 shots.

 

keep calm, it's a major patch and, as CJ stated, many things have to be changed and fixed.
the dev team will bring a public HB Beta when they think it's safe and working.
