Anyone tried Random Heroic MoP dungeons with 5 bots?

You don't need marcros to run a 5 man dungeon team over and over. Have you ever heard of ISBoxer or any other multi-boxing software.

 

Who cares if the Blizz can get my MAC address! When they see I have ISBoxer loaded as well then will they assume I'm multi-boxing?

 

They can't see that you are running ISBoxer, if they could they would see your Honorbuddy and ban any attached account.

 

Its not about the technical possibility, but the legal reasons for them to identify the MAC address, they receive from your wow clients with the corresponding battle.net accounts, and then sum how-much 2+2 is.

Happily for Blizz, they do not need to do such stuff without legal ground, but identifying just by Windows registry seems to work well enough to them, according to our ban reports section

 

I've been running a MoP dungeon group using Dungeonbuddy for the last couple of weeks. I net around 300-500 per hour per character, so anywhere from 1500-2500 per hour. The group's ilvl is 529-535, and has been much quicker once I got over about 520 avg ilvl.

It sure feels safer than mining or running Botanica on each account, but that very well may be a false sense of security.

 

I have been running 5 accounts on a daily routine for 8-12 hours each day since a month prior to the tripwires, and was online for all of the "widespread log offs". No news as of yet to report in terms of bans, but I just hit the 1 million mark of farming by dungeons alone this week.

 

Ran 3-4 groups, were able to bot for one month and then ban fest. Think just one or two accounts out of those 20 survived.

It's more safe than crash n burn botting Gundrak, but it's nowhere near as safe as people seem to think in this thread.

People do /who 90 during off hours, see 5 people in the same dungeon...

Gundrak/drak farm: 15-20k per day.
5-man HCs : 4-6k a day.

If it's worth it or not is up to you. Calculate when you break even on your investment, and then calculate the amount of time until you get enough profit to justify you putting down those hours getting the bots up. When this is done you'll have your answer if it's worth it or not.

 

I run random heroics and have my computer set up perfectly to turn itself on and start up all of the accounts, its not too difficult but it is worth it. I also do not suicide run high profit dungeons, rather I que random dungeons and us JP for buying mats and store them in one of my 15 guild banks (all level 25).

If you are only making 4-6k in 5 man HC's you are doing it wrong.

 

Yeah, not spending 10 hours per character getting 535+ ilvl gear I guess And the fact that nothing you get from dungeons sell, 476 epics go for 100gold on the larger servers. Windwool cloth costs nothing.
My chars had never set foot inside a LFR or other raid. They had never been on timeless isle...So my ilvl was around 480-490, however my personal time spent tinkering with the characters was close to none, maybe 10 minutes per character tops. And isnt that why we bot? To not need to tinker with the characters, EVER.

And your setup is meh? Why not just have the computer running and use HBRelog. Or if you really really wanna shut it off, drag n drop HBrelog to your startup menu so it automatically starts with window and have it setup in Hbrelog to start your characters when Hbrelog starts...

Any who dsnt matter, they're banned and im off to more profitable botting.

 

I have it shut off so that if all my safety measures fail there is a foolproof way to get the game to log out every day. By start up all of the accounts I meant use Arelog to start them for me.

If you have any of the cloth and mats saved up hold onto them for the first few weeks of WoD and slowly leak them into the AH as new/returning users will be looking to max professions as quickly as possible.

 

So nice one to see so much offtopic here, as always.. i just googled for some info about gph with dungeonbuddy, solo or in 5 man bot group.
So has there anyone some numbers to throw in? I cannot yet test it myself because my toons still leveling but it would be interesting if there is something else with 800+gph besides botanica, gundrak or drak and a 5 man group sounds interesting

 

I have been getting 1000 gph just doing randoms, 1 team full of 550 ilvl pvp geared people with heirloom weapons from garrosh, 50k a day

 

My toons are still gearing up. However dont think i can do random since for example at last boss in mogushan palace (xin) - my healer just stands there while tank and dps moves and so they always die because healer is out of range. pretty gay. So wont do randoms while afk knowing that if they end up in that dungeon they will just die over and over again.

However, how long do u bot? i think abt 16-24hrs a day. Guess dungeon botting is somehow a bit more safe(?) - nobody can see u.

 

I have been doing 12-14 hours, i just bought my 2nd 5 man team, a big investment but I have a good buyer now for gold and can make it up relatively quick, about a week. all 10 are on the same machine to lol.

I suggest a clean install of your honorbuddy though and disable all plugins, just stock settings and my guys clear through everything fairly well, there is an issue though with scholomance that makes it take almost twice as long, when Lilliana is killed she doesnt technically die she goes to like 1 hp and then turns green, the bot tries to kill her for like 5 min before moving on

 

Can second the 50k a day from doing random heroics 10-12 hours a day, with 550 pvp gear and heirloom weapons. comes to about 750 gph on the 4 toons not looting, i guess 1600-1800 gpm on the one looting and selling, not counting auctioning off cloth.

They run great, though there are certain spots they might get stuck, so some supervision might be required. It's a gamble really, sometimes ive left em for a full 12 hours without checking, and it's worked great, other times they get stuck in the same spot over and over (stormstout brewery).

 

GPH is horrible best bot individually raw gold that is i'm sure if you d/e and sell on ah profit increase. I run a shamn Hunnter Pally Pally Dk

 

Good luck finding something as safe as random heroics with the same gph.

 

i know that I can't, not yet anyway.
