Singular-specific issues
After a discussion with Bobby53, we are no longer capturing issues here against Singular. Bobby53 has a very thorough and efficient work flow that is independent of the HBcore bug tracking process. We will just need to give him time to 'catch up' to the changes imposed by WoD. He is well aware of all the issues that people have been reporting, and just needs time to address them.

Bugs in danger of being discarded, due to lack of details
• HB-1250: Add WoWAuction.Owner, and possible inclusion of BattlePetInfo
"Is needed "Owner" not the same as PosterGuid, which is already there?
We checked and adding Level and owner full name is not straightforward at all, both of them requiring several offsets to properly retrieve (and therefore maintenance). What is the actual usage scenario for these variables and why can they not be retrieved with Lua?

We're still looking at the battle pet info things, but they will probably be added."

Awaiting Confirmation

Cannot reproduce
Bugs marked as "cannot reproduce" are usually due to problems with your particular Honorbuddy installation. For instance, third-party products that are not working correctly—you should disable Buddy Store streaming for all products. Another cause is interference from external programs or addons. Your best way to recovering from this always starts with a clean install.
If you continue to experience problems after conducting a 'clean install', and disabling the streaming of all products from the Buddy Store, you should seek help in the Support forum with your log that captures the issue.

• HB-1162: Siege of Orgrimmar, The Underhold (wing3): Problematic pathing to Malkorok

• HB-1240: Smarten up mob engagement while ground traveling?

User needs to set KillBetweenHotspots to false
It's possible that CR is including mobs to targeting"

Post dispositions
These posts have been archived for the reasons stated here.

Problem should be resolved in the Support forum
Your problem can probably easily be resolved with a clean install, and turning off the use of all third-party products—including all products from the Buddy Store. There is a strong chance the repair for your issue resides in the Honorbuddy:HelpDesk. However, if you are unable to resolve the problem using these resources, then by all means make a new post in the Support forum. And please, don't forget to attach your full, unedited log that captures the issue.

Using third-party products that have not been updated for pre-WoD
Once again, we draw your attention to the bright red letters in the first post that are easy to overlook

Missing critical information (logs, screenshots, etc.)
Your post may also be archived "without comment" for this reason. The posts listed here made an effort to report the problem, but the information provided was insufficient to create a bug report (e.g., wrong log, partial log, screenshot needed, etc)

• Brahaga (no log of the problem attached)

Didn't check the "Known Issues" list

Log is not against the current release

Hi, Angelus,

Indeed, there are incredible numbers of flat-out WoWclient bugs in the pre-WoD WoWclient drops. This is why we appear to be struggling at times to figure out work-arounds for them. All we can say is Highvoltz worked his magic as he always does. Enjoy!

cheers,

Hi, Chemical, and thanks for the log.

This looks like a problem with your cache. Please clean it according to the directions in this article:

If no joy, please follow up to the Support forum. This does NOT appear to be an Honorbuddy bug.

cheers,
chinajade

Everything works fine except your Avast.
You should get rid of it as fast as you can.
Really, this program is ultimate crap.

The HB-DE Zip link works perfect.
Switch off your virus scanner/firewall and try again.

Hi, GK2014, and thank you for another update.

However, we purposefully do not want these items in Protected Items.xml. They will accumulate without bound, clog up the backpacks, and cannot be disposed of through mailing and other means.

However, we did fold in the correction for "Golden Sansam Leaf".

Thank you, again.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Bossbot,

Your posts are being removed because you are not reporting a bug with Honorbuddy. Which makes them outside the scope of this thread.

But to answer your question anyway...
Your Antivirus is damaged and needs updating (or replacing with a competent one). The techniques used by Honorbuddy look very much like Virii to weak AV engines that don't know any better.

If you are uncomfortable with your AV's mis-reporting, you can run the Honorbuddy distribution package through a wide-band AV site like Virus Total.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Phenton, and thank you for the suggestion.

We've added your comments to HB-1464 ("Augmenting information provided by Honorbuddy's "Info" tab").

Protected Items.xml for Warlords of Draenor

Protected Items.xml for Warlords of Draenor

Hi, all,

Until another Honorbuddy drop is made, you may want to update your Protected Items.xml with this one. This one contains Warlords of Draenor (WoD) items.

cheers,

Yes, Laurel and Hardy, but they passed away long ago.

If you would be so keen to tell us which ones and where? :-/

Hi, Greeneye, and thanks for the log.

DungeonBuddy issues should be reported to the appropriate (DungeonBuddy) thread. But this time, we've gone ahead and written up HB-1515 ("Razorfen Kraul: Pulls hostile mob group while trying to turn in Spirit of Agamaggan").

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Ilja Rogoff, and thanks for the log!

We've opened HB-1516 ("AutoEquip making bad gearing decisions") against this issue. Since, Bliz has re-scaled the gear with WoD, the AutoEquip equations are probably off.

The information you've attached is MUCH appreciated. Calling out the two specific pieces of gear helps immensely. But, in the future for AutoEquip reports, please also attach the "AutoEquip log" in addition to the normal log. This helps us rapidly figure out if its an algorithmic or a weight-set problem.

cheers,
chinajade

Unfortunately AutoEquip does not consider gems, that is on the todo list (HB-750: AutoEquip is not evaluating socket bonuses on gear). When you take that into account, the choice AutoEquip makes here is actually (pretty) sane:
Temple Helm of the Faultline:
67 Armor
+48 Stamina
+32 Strength
+21 Haste
+21 Mastery

Meteoric Greathelm:
68 Armor
+23 Strength
+53 Stamina
+20 Critical Strike
+15 Haste

So the effective stat changes of this decision is
-1 Armor
-5 Stamina
-20 Critical Strike
+9 Strength
+6 Haste
+21 Mastery

Which yields a victory for the green item. Does that make sense?

I have been pondering weighing item levels slightly as well, which would affect this decision. This is not something current weight sets do though.

Class profiles (which contain weight sets) are found in the <Honorbuddy root>\Data\Class Profiles\ directory. The available stats can be found here: WeighableStatType enum.

The AutoEquip log is only created in beta versions. The release version does not create the log. If you are running a beta version of Honorbuddy, the log can be found in the same place as the regular logs, but it will have an "AutoEquip" prefix.
