      Hello everyone,

I just bought game time with gold and he send me a gift card first and i used it.

After using it it was nicely added to my account and i payed him with my gold.

Few hours later the payment got cancelled and the gametime was stolen from me.

What do i do now? Do i ticket blizzard and report the theft, any suggestions are welcome.

      Thanks

Did you get this from someone on ownedcore? Usually ownedcore sellers are pretty reputable.

You can't contact Blizzard about it. Trading in game currency for anything else than other in game currency is prohibited.

Yes, please ticket Blizzard. They will be happy to know you bought real world items with ingame gold which is against the terms of service. Anyway, you won't get the gold or the gametime back. Take it as a lesson and move on.

You could try lying. He screwed you over, you might as well screw him over.

i had this happen to my in CATACLYSM. i purchased a month for 15k, all went smooth so the next day i purchased 12 months from him...... lets just say i was scammed out of about 200,000g and a week later all the game times were retracted due to payment cancelations. i called blizz and they said " GG you were scamed.. QQ more noob. " welll maybe not those words but they might as well of. i recieved nothing in return other then them telling me i was at fault/breaking rules also for buying RL items ingame. they tried to say i was lucky i wasnt reprimanded aswell. so yea. sry man as the first post said, your screwed :D

My suggestion is the same as everyone else's...

Take your life lesson and move on. You have no recourse here, and you aren't going to get help from Blizz.

I did the exact same thing, they make a big deal about giving you the gametime code first, and gold payment is only made after it clears. Omg so trustworthy! Except their credit card payment is reversed a few days later and you are probably put on a big list of dodgy people to be kept a close eye on.

I even gave the scammer a 3k bonus! He must have laughed at that... I didnt bother to contact Blizzard, if you're buying game time you are exactly the type of person to bot as well. So I prefer to keep my head down and learn one of lifes lessons for very little loss really. People get scammed IRL for their whole life savings, carry this lesson over to IRL and its still a good deal.

Thanks for the tip about OwnedCore, I had given up on buying gametime ever again.

I had a friend who did this type of thing, exchange gold for time. He made sure it was a game time card though as to avoid getting screwed.

There is nothing illegal neither in using this bot nor in trading gold. it just breaks a company's TOS, but it's not illegal.

It breaks the TOS which is Blizzard's legal binding contract no one reads and clicks accept (otherwise you cant play the game)

Dont contact blizz on a botted account unless you want to unban it.
And for the future: just sell your gold to a trustworthy seller for money, and buy a key from a trustworthy site.
I once lost a couple of accounts because of this shit, but im not really sure what happened, Ive been paying my gametime for months that way, suddenly I tried to log in and they did not have any gametime left, although there should have been almost two weeks left, a day later they were banned when I logged in on the battlenet to enter a gametime code.
