Do you find it's harder now to make gold since garrisons do everything for everyone, or do you find it better since you have all the resources you need to corner a market(s)?

Farming just mats, it's much harder. But doing professions correctly, it still makes you lots of gold.

Disappointed at launch. When I finally could play on Saturday I was astonished. And after hitting 100 it got boring within hours. Making gold with WoD license was ridiculous up to last week, now with the raids out, it has dwindled for me personally.

I thought cooking would be great, it's always been good to me in past expansions but it's been terrible so far in WoD. People are selling cooked foods cheaper than the raw mats go for. Fishing is hardly worth while in this expansion. One meat type goes for decent gold (17-20g) but the rest you may as well not bother with.

Problem is, cooking is cooking is worhless. You can only craft +75stat buffood for groups. The +100stat buffood comes from the barn.

Addon so far: At launch I didn`t care about the server issues. They happen every expansion. Leveling was nice, the areas are nice. Dungeons are difficult (At least low geared) So I was happy.

Some days after dinging 100 there was nothing more to do. I had every quest completed, was fully pvp equipped, had every pvp item the vendor sells, was honor capped. Ashran sucks like no other pvp content before, the lvl 100 questing zone (jungle) is locked, I had the best pve gear I could get, the only thing to do are dailies where you grind mobs or play farmville in your garison. Use every profession CD and every building CD.

Finally the raid opened. It`s ok. I like it. There are much better raids in wow, but for the beginning the raid is ok.

LFR is absolute faceroll. I bet its possible to beat LFR with 10 people.

I basically like the addon, but there`s nothing to do beside using your one raiding ID and doing the same stuff every day with all your chars... From that aspect its more boring than MoP at the end.

From the botting side: I personally didn`t have to buy anything from the ah, because I have tons of mats by leveling, doing my mine and my garden. I have so much that I sell that crap on the ah, because there is nothing I can do with it besides using up my daily CDs. And the prices on the AH drop every day, because everybody has the same issue. Eaven the craftet 640 Items are cheap, becuse you can only wear 3 and with my one char, I have already craftet 8.

Farming resources maybe ok for now, but in a few weeks noone will need them. AND since all the old professions and crafted items are absolutely worthless, farming mats in vanilla, bc, cata, wotlk and mop zones will not bring anymore profit, because there is no use for those mats at all.

Getting gold is easy, I spend 20k during leveling, and I earned aroung 35k by doing quests and dailies, dungeons, loot, missions. Besides that I made a lot of gold by selling stuff I don`t need. But prices are dropping...

I think botting will suck in this expansion exept CRs, leveling, PvP BGs

i love it. ive got 15 90's left to level and 1 100 im still doing stuff on. I want one "fully complete, main toon" for both horde and alliance. My next toon will be on my second realm, a alliance combat rouge to level as. I leveled 90-100 for my first toon as WW monk using TuanHA's SpecialEdition Monk routine and enyo. Also, zygor guides, always latest version.

The only thing is, if you want a you're 100 to be "as good as you can get him" you gotta spend tooonnnss of time working on him before moving to another toon.

Things I am still working before leveling my next 90 alt, and stuff I do each day:

      1. Stables dailies for lvl 3 stables achieve (master of mounts) and advanced husbandry achieve just because its easy. (just keep that horn item found in the stables in your bag while doing the dailes)
      2. Top off all my orders in tannery, lumber mill, trading post, mines, herb garden and collect all my loot caches from them. (with the appropriate follower in each building for bonus)
      3. Do fishing daily everyday. (except nat pagle fishing dailies, the drop rate for lunkers is god awful)
      4. Do garrison daily and garrison campaign if there is one. And of course 1 garrison invasion each week. Be it my garrison, or a invite to another persons invasion. 3 man team = guaranteed gold rating and idk what the chance for epic loot is, but i got epic 645 legs yesterday helping with someone elses garrison invasion. We got gold rating.
      5. Top off timber to 250 each day.
      7. Collect garrison mine ore and garrison herb garden herbs.
      6. Continue to level up leatherworking and skinning. (about half way to 700, since i dropped both 700 herb and mining 3 days ago) Edit: oh, and enchanters study to make room for tannery. :p
      7. Grind frostwolf orge rep for "savage friends" achieve for lvl 3 trading posts.
      8. Missions all day. Level them all to epic and highest ilvl. (currently have 30 followers, 25 active, of those active, 3 uncommon, 14 rare, 8 epic. All between ilvl 600 and 630.)
      9. Get "got my mind on my draenor money" achieve for lvl 3 storehouse.
      10. Get highest possible ilvl (currently 631) for my WW set, and then build up my main MW set (which ive been doing already, mostly 600-630 gear, with a few MoP epics left to replace)
      11. And lastly, make as much gold as possible, because this will be my horde main to feed my other horde alts if they need it.

      I think thats everything lol.

But overall, minus the launch epic fail, its a lot of fun. I would say best expansion yet. Just gotta spend a lot of time on you're first 100. Especially if you need to level up 2 gear sets.

So 7/10. -1pt. for epic WoD launch failure. -1pt. for massive time consuming stuff. -1pt. for all the bugs and server issues they are STILL working to resolve.
