Just curious regarding this.. why do they do this instead of selling it on honorbuddy, they go to other websites such as Vitalic as an example. I feel maybe some of the best routines available for pvp are on other websites instead of official one? Thank you, if anyone e has any experience with Vitali what do you think of it regarding pvp?
It's mainly because: 1. They were available on offsites before the buddystore existed 2. You have to get builds approved on the buddystore before they go live, so if they are on offsites then the bugs etc. can be fixed instantly vs waiting for buddystore to approve.
This brother's right, the Buddy Store is a new implementation around WoD release. IDK about Vitali but I do know that Tuanha's routines are PVP before PVE, those'll do great. There is an iffy debate on whether you should be using routines in Arena's BTW, just a heads up.
He's talking about the fact that HB takes a 30% cut from the developers on all purchases via the Buddystore.
It's a tradeoff for all developers I guess, like selling through amazon. You get a larger audience, but a smaller margin...
Having to not pay for their own website and whatever does sound like a good idea now that I think about it.
i guess because the buddy team review/vet all submissions and these off site developers dont want to have their code reviewed for whatever reason (probably because they not good enough to meet the standards)
