All, I am constantly getting this error "Object Reference Not Set to an Instance of an Object". Force closes honorbuddy. This has been happening on the two latest versions. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a solution? See attached jpeg for error. Running version 2.0.0.3558
do this /run print(GetCVar('gxApi')) open the chatbox in wow copy paste that press enter. If it prints D3D9 ure all good if it says D3D11 you have to open your Config.wtf file and edit this row: SET gxApi "D3D11" Make sure it looks like this: SET gxApi "D3D9" if you still have problems post your log as attachment
I'll use this thread to avoid making another one about the same. I got the same issue as above. I checked that what u said Tony and I have D3D9 ( whatever it is ), but I keep getting the same message like Naudan. I attached 3 logs, all ended with the same error.
have you tried the latest Hb version if you still have problems post your log here as attachment(if any)
Hi Tony! Yes, using latest version. I'll get my log up soon. Thanks for your help. ^^ EDIT: Check other thread (linked above), I posted my log there from one of the chars this is happening on. Cheers mate!
having same issue only thing i can think of is that i am downloading the content through streaming while i am playing. It will start honor buddy just fine, after running for a random amount of time that same error will pop up. i have tried to turn off bug reporter addon, i have tried turning off armor upgrade addon. turned off pretty much every setting i have. now it will also randomly switch to a different profile IE from hyjal 80-82 profile to purples hyjal 80-83 profile. I am at work right now i will post logs when i get home.
Thought I should chime in. Happening again to me as well. I'm at work, but when I check it via LogMeIn, my toon is always dead. Not sure if that has anything at all to do with it, just thought I would add it. Latest HB WoW 100% Patched Running as Admin IB/Mailing disabled D3D9
Are we supposed to type /run print(GetCVar('gxApi')) into the regular WoW chat? If so i got back "nil".
Ok, i found the config.wtf file. I tried opening and my computer didnt know what program to use to open it with. I just chose notebook and it worked. I didnt see a SET gxApi "D3D9". So you want me to type that in and save the file? If so does it matter where i type it in at?
