Okay read this carefully: I came back from making a snack which took like 5 minutes, and saw one account was disconnected, so I was like "Oh snap, why just one account?" and when I tried to log in, I couldn't cause the password wasn't correct; so I checked my mail and saw my account got closed/Banned. And as I was about to write an appeal another account got disconnected, so I instantly turned off my other 3 bots (I had a total of 5 bots running). Just out of desperate panic knowing it doesn't matter anyway. BUTTTTT infact, it did! I think.. Cause those other 3 accounts I turned down as soon the 2nd account got hit were untouched by Blizz, they were not being banned! So that' s interesting, luck? or did it actually helped to turn them off? How many accounts been botted: I was botting with 5 WoW Battlechest accounts, 2 of them got Perma Banned. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? I had the same thing happened. Only 2 out of 6 however I didnt disconnected them and just continued suicide botting, after 2 days 2 more were banned and after 4 days 2 more were banned. While usually when a ban happens all 6 are banned but not this time. First batch (of 6 botters) they didnt got banned at the same time
well the thing what makes me curious is, was it an coincidence that those other 3 accounts, which I shut down myself quickly, didn't got banned? Or is there a GM checking on my IP if there are other accounts running needs to be banned, and since there was no more running at that moment he might went :/ if you get what i mean...
You might have kept them for now. Ive had the same thing happen to me and hours later the rest were banned also. Its unusual for an account to get banned 1 at a time. Usually they ALL go offline at the same time.
Yes same IP, and no VMS, just my own IP. Iam currently botting again since yesterday, (waited 2 days) no problems yet :s
Same thing happend with my accounts. First was banned on one day, the other disconneted a bit later because of the 24h disconnect. The next day i tried to use my other bot again, but after a few hours my second bot was banned too. i used Azyul's GrimBatol Profile. Actually I use another new account, use Kicks Leveling Profile and nothing happend till now. Maybe it is the intense instance farming (because apx. 80-100 horde player run the instance profile on my server) OR it has something to do with the new "Anti-Cheating-Aggrement". I'll bot one account and seperately play another without any bot activities and will give you a report in a few weeks.
Same thing happened to me just now 3-4 accs got 72h bans and i instantly shut down others- nothing happened with them(for now) . Fuck blizzard bans too often, 1st time they hit me ~20 dec, than 2 weeks later, and now again. Before that massive bans dont hit me about half year :/
They declined the appeals for both of my accounts, they were never suspicious before. So i think it have something to do with their new anti cheating aggrement, because on other bot accounts I appealed every account one time! EDIT: Btw this time they exactly wrote me that I've used bots, after I appealed.
Very interesting : 1 account banned for siting in Gbank from 6+ months inactive Guard Bank , 5 accounts inactive from 3 months banned also , 1 account inactive from 1 year with 1 lvl character with trial active on 4.01.2015 just invited to new Gbank - banned , and most interesting - 5 new Starter edition accounts with 15 lvl character each account, offline from 2 weeks - Banned too
