I've been botting for quite some time now and i've made my fair share of gold thus far. Im a raider in a top 100 guild and it would be devastating if i loose my main account. Now the question is if the main account is at risk or not. I use the gold for my main account by transferring it via a guildbank. The bots put it in the guildbank and and alt on the main account takes it out. I do not sell the gold nor do i trade it to other people. The main purpose for the gold is black market auctionhouse.

      The situation:

My bots are all on seperate battlenet accounts and run from another computer but both computers (main pc and bot pc) use the same network. I've had a couple permabanned bot accounts and my main still is unharmed.

No it is not safe because Blizzard already knows that process and has it's eyes open for it.

Will you get banned soon? It depends on what you use the gold for (selling/playing AH), and how often you are botting... and luck.

      So bottom line.

It is safe if its two separate accounts on the same network.
It is not safe because you are flagged as a gold buyer with that move.

No its not safe. Eventually you will have a GM that decides to try and impress someone and he will do a full investigation. GM's are not stupid. They will put 2 and 2 together and blanket everything. Your best bet to saving your main would be to stop botting now. If you stop you will probably be fine.

Thanks for the tips. I stopped botting when i made this post and wanted to see what people thought. I dont think i would be very satisfied when my main gets banned. This is probably for the best :)

      good methods.

You are as safe today as you ever were... I wouldn't stop botting if I was you. However, if you have a surplus... taking a break from running bots for a month or two is an excellent idea.
